With the heat in the south of Spain I couldn't sleep with 28 degrees so I took a photo of the big moon and then a double exposure in photoshop with a stock photo. I hope you like it friends. Happy weekend
I really enjoyed this theme. My camera is not capable of producing this effect on its own so I was forced to use software to create a combination of two macro photos. I happen to have Paint Shop Pro although I don't use it often. This is a photo of an antique mantle clock (1908) and a watch face. It took quite a bit of trial and error and learning the software capabilities. HMM Everyone!
What do you do when it is dark, rainy and windy outside? Go out and shoot of course...
Searching for the elemental mood of stormy wind. I decided an in-camera double exposure with one being an ICM exposure would add the movement of the rain drops. Looking forward to your thoughts on the idea, critique and your own interpretations. Thanks again and HMBT!

Dank Makro Mondays musste ich jetzt auch einmal diese Funktion der Kamera austesten. Nach eine Reihe von Versuchen ist dies das erste Bild das meinen Ansprüchen genügte :-)

This is for Macro Mondays them "Double exposure". Both images are just within the 3 inch limit. Instead of learning how to do double exposures in my camera I just took two shots and blended them in GIMP. That took some time to figure out as well. The background image was illuminated solely by candlelight, and then I shot the candle against a black background, which allowed the use of "add grayscale mask" to blend the candle's layer. Both images were shot with a Canon EOS 5D mark 4 and Canon 100mm F/2.8L Macro lens.

This HSS photo was more about sliding in camera than in post.
It is a double exposure with the first exposure on echinacea. Nearby there were pink petunias. I blurred them a bit in the second exposure and also moved the camera (ICM), which gave a kind of pink wash. over the already pinkish echinacea.

Macro Mondays theme this week was double exposure. Luckily the previous week I learnt how to merge two photos in Photoshop for another project, so I thought it would be easy!! How wrong I was, it was so hard to take two photos that merged together as I wanted.
This is the back and front of a small urchin shell.
