Double Arch inside Arches National Park is more impressive and much larger than it appears in this photograph.

Double Arch, Arches National Park, Utah.
An incredible sight that seems almost improbable. I had to keep reminding myself that this rock structure has been like this for tens of thousands of years, and the chance that it would take this precise moment to fall on me and mash me is so negligible as to be almost impossible.
Given its history, which was the more probable: that the arch would fall, or that it would stand at least until tomorrow?
With all of that considered, I relaxed a bit, approached the arches, and felt the awe.
