La réponse, mon ami, c’est le vent qui l'a. !

Piles of current coins.
Left to right, they are..
2p coin, 10p coin, 5p coin and finally the 1p coin.
All stacked up in small little towers.
Mind you, I am not sure that during the week we remember the attacks on the Twin Towers, this subject is in the best of taste...
Each step, each word, every single little thing about you, makes my heart sing. And i can only wish for so many more years by your side, to watch you grow and to let you teach me so many beautiful things, like you do each day.
Because you amaze me my little one...
i´m so proud of you...
Happy birthday my little sim.....

Eigentlich wollte ich diesen Ast entfernen, er steckte aber zu fest im Felsen. Spielverderber!
I actually wanted to remove this branch, but it stuck too hard in the rock.

"Co-op society token"
These little discs were dividend tokens with a monetary value stamped on them, usually made from tinned iron or zinc, this particular token is a very early one made from tinned iron I should image!
These were introduced in the mid 19 th century, although my token is probably a 20 th century one.
These were given to customers for being loyal to the shop and could be redeemed quarterly for cash or goods to the value of tokens you may of amassed over the months shopping at the Co-op.
A very small token with a diameter of only 23 mm, also a very light token.
1d was one penny in pre-decimal currency where 240 pennies equalled one English pound.
Those were the days 😂
Popped the token on the top of a fresh bunch of daffodils to give a nice natural background colour to offset the industrial look of the token.
Well what's the use of golden plunder when you can have Co-op tokens asunder, cash them in four times a year to buy fags, crisps and beer, or save em' up for festive cheer, lot's of dosh cuz Christmas dear.
Then it's Ho' ho' ho' and dancing queer, good old Co-op it's fab no fear!

Macro Monday challenge for 21/8/17 is "Bread"
So, why a picture of money? You can't make toast with that!
There are many terms across the globe for money, far too many for me to try and list. Easily the most commonly used slang term in the UK is Bread. This is derived from Cockney rhyming slang: bread and honey - money. Also very commonly used is dough from the same source. There was even a sitcom in the late 80s based in Liverpool named Bread - essentially because of the connection with money.
As a complete aside I just realised this is pic 800 loaded to Flickr by me...
Over the years Les Ross has made possible many memorable scenes such as this by continuing to operate his Class 86/2, No. 86259. He has not and is not seeking support for his locomotive, but is looking for support to help the many men both present and future who will suffer from prostate cancer, something he, too, has endured and survived. On 14th June he will again be taking part in the Prostate Cancer UK 'March for Men' in Battersea Park, and would really like your support if for no other reason than you may also be a beneficiary of your donation at some future time. All that its needed is to go onto his Boom Radio site, boomradio.co.uk, scroll down to his picture, which will take you to his page and the link to Just Giving.Go on - you know it makes sense!! As for the above, a glorious evening near Rugeley as Class 86/2 No. 86259 'Les Ross/Peter Pan' heads the returning Railway Touring Company 'Cumbrian Mountain Express', 1Z87 1417 Carlisle - London Euston on 8th August 2020.
