What an incredible year!
For me Nature has been a life saver.
From the nesting blue tits and robins to badgers and deer, all appearing because of the strange quietness brought about by various lockdowns, particularly the first.
Here you see my wild fox who will now take food from my hand without taking my fingers as well. A trust has built up between us. Nature is truly supreme, we tamper with it at our peril.
Having spotted mist in the early morning, I decided to head to Box Hill, a location I know can be particularly stunning for photography when mist settles across the landscape. Despite getting caught in traffic on the way, conditions were still excellent when I arrived at the Salomons Memorial at the top of the hill.
The mist was sitting high, blanketing the fields and towns below, so I had to be patient and wait for it to lift. As it gradually cleared, sections of the landscape began to emerge, allowing me to capture some very pleasing images.
There were also birds flying around, and I was fortunate to capture several shots of them in flight. This is one of those images, with the birds adding an extra element to the scene.

I'm a dork! I went to the beach to take some photos and I thought I would take a tribue photo of my new Chucks because last Saturday, at the very same location, during a photo shoot for my mate's wedding, they took a dive, literally, and today, it happened again, but this time I was able to capture the moment.
I was the last one in my office to have their picture taken. Made sure the person before me was about my height so I would not have to mess with the tripod. I focused then got in front of the camera and hit the shutter. Close enough.
Ha! fooled you. No reminders from the dashboard this morning. This morning was cameras on the dashboard.
And this is me looking intently into the lens. (I was probably all stressed out thinking that the red light was going to turn green faster than expected) Hi people!

Yep, I know it doesn't exactly say Dork (could be D5RK or DaRK). When I first looked at the tag, I thought it said Dork. I thought it was funny that someone's tag would be Dork. After I got home and looked at the photo full screen, I realized it didn't say Dork at all. But then I felt like a dork which was funny in itself. I think it still would have been funnier had the tag said Dork. And thus the title.
This was done for The Artist Park show. Bri was kind to buy and give it back LOL TY sooo much!!!
