After feeding a fish to the three chicks it's time for this adult Bald Eagle to move higher up in the nesting tree to stand guard.
No one has done this before...Taken from the top of St.Peters Church. This picture is impossible and in violation of all standards on how to shoot a panorama. There are tons of errors in the picture. Next I will go there with my Fuji and invest more thoughts on where and how to take the shots and stich them properly

My new (and a bit extreme) film simulation made especially for old monumental buildings, historical motifs and ruins like this one.
Everything is preset in camera, the picture taken in jpeg and posted as sooc without post processing.

Before the invention of hay bales..... My father-in-law, who is 96, told me that this was a pretty wonderful machine. It would lift winrowed hay up into a wagon that was being pulled behind. He said it really beat throwing the hay into the wagon using a pitchfork. When he was a young man his family used horses to farm and corn was picked by hand. Farming has come a long way in his life time.
This is a composite. The foreground photo was taken during blue hour. The sky photo was taken a night earlier about 30 miles away to get away from the light pollution surrounding Lincoln. All photos were taken using an Olympus OMD EM-1 mk2 body and Olympus 12mm f2 lens.

we did it - today is day 365!!!!!!!
it doesn't seem like a year, yet at times, it seemed like forever. I am so glad we did it, but yet do not think I will try for another 365 soon, maybe a 52 week though. I made the shirts too, with a pic a day for them!

I believe they were gifted to Canada by the Netherlands commemorating Canadian contribution to the defeat of Nazis during WWII
An absolute rarity, this young Sharp-shinned Hawk blessed my backyard while it enjoyed its birdie meal. Taking a break here before it moves on. I've only seen a handful of hawks stop by over the years; this one probably got what it wanted. Actually, for two Super Bowl Sundays in a row, a hawk sat on my fence. Second year, I named it Brady. If it happens this year, I may have to change the name to Jared.
And I finally caught up with the story, man, Shadowbringers was really good and I wish I could play it again for the first time. Well, time to unlock all the content I skipped and do all the side quests I ignored so far. Still A LOT OF STUFF to do.
Wheeling’s 616 afternoon crew brings their roughly 30 car train over Sudan Viaduct as they head east to Koppers. Despite Koppers being about 36 miles from Rook Yard this run often ends up taking an entire crew, sometimes two, to turn on loads.
