So five months later, this outfit finally arrived and — I’ve just been staring at it. For days now. This was one of the first things we bought way back in March, before we even had the heads in hand. It’s my first time waiting five months for an outfit (dolls, yes; outfits, not so much before now) and it was absolutely worth the wait. This is one of Wei Wuxian’s outfits from the Sunshot Campaign. Specifically, after he wakes and realizes the Wen remnants are being hunted and he’s not down with that. It is glorious pattern porn and I’m just like wow. Seriously. 😍 Right now it feels like dolls are taking the edge off of everythiing going on. We still don’t know what fall is going to look like for us, whether we’ll be in the school building or teaching remotely and likely we won’t know until 5 days before we’re due to be back in (because that’s when the school committee votes for the final time). Tensou. I snagged this little guy in the last @seed.arts release. I’ve wanted to have a little bat or dragon friend for Wataru and his brother. Eventually I might hunt up for something more articulated but the Housegoth is adorable and makes a good friend in the meantime. It’s funny but @ametchu and I had a conversation the other day about how sometimes we tend to like the same sculpts and sometimes that can feel a little odd or redundant? To which I pointed out we do very different things with whatever sculpt we each own. Like Akemi versus Taira or well, these two goofballs.
