This is our beautiful old girl, Jazzy. She had an aggressive cancer and was given a prognosis of 12 months. That was 4 years ago. She just turned 10, officially an elder pup now, and is extremely healthy, and slightly spoiled.
She loves our daily walks, and the post-walk treat even more.

Had a mini dog shoot at the weekend, with these 2 adorable cocker spaniels.
I'm still not feeling my greatest some days, lacking in energy and have been finding social networking a bit overwhelming, but I still want to post on here some days. So I might not be able to reply to each individual comment as usual, hope you guys don't mind.
Having a break from Friday for the week, going to the Lake District with Antonio for some R&R. Looking forward to that. Have a good week, my friends.
Bandit being his incredible photogenic self. He loves to pose for photos, in fact he even photo bombs when I try to take photos of other dogs. This one was taken at Riverwood Farm in the fall of last year and decided it deserved an edit.

DNA studies suggest that native American dogs entered North America from Siberia roughly 10,000 years ago, and were then isolated for some 9000 years until the arrival of the first Europeans; these pre-contact dogs exhibited a unique genetic signature that is now almost gone. A study based on sequencing of ancient dog genomes, published in 2020, suggests that this pre-colonial ancestry survives in two Mexican breeds, to the extent of about 4% in the Chihuahua (and some 3% in the Xoloitzcuintli).
Colonial records refer to small, nearly hairless dogs at the beginning of the nineteenth century; one claims that sixteenth-century conquistadores found them plentiful in the region later known as Chihuahua. In a letter written in 1520, Hernan Cortés wrote that the Aztecs raised and sold little dogs as food.
The American Kennel Club first registered a Chihuahua in 1904, Midget, owned by H. Raynor of Texas.

They both wanted attention first thing in the morning, Jasper put his paw on Cooper's head as if to say.."It's ok Cooper, just wait till Dad has his coffee!" They know my routine quite well, and I just couldn't resist taking and posting one more photo!
Ladies and Gentleman may I introduce the latest addition to our clan, Jasper! He's a 9 week old Border Collie pup with lots of ambition and just plain cuteness!! Jasper has already shown a keen interest in photography as he knows when to smile for the camera.
(I don't normally put up photos of my dogs, but couldn't resist this time...the birds will return soon.)

He just loves when I chase him around in the house
If Im not aware he will grab it and run out into the garden with it and hoping I will chase him there too
Too much snow to give him that pleasure now , his toy will be gone for months under the snow
And it is the only one I have left inside
When spring is coming I always find loads of his forgotten toys underneath the snow, stuck in the ice
Mark and Aiko always plays together, I know Aiko will love the 5 weeks that are ahead

The other addiction of mine is caramel, slurp 😋
Luckily I have realized that no 1 addiction can still be no 1 😆, that gives me a bit healthier attitude I guess 😂.
