This song was written in 1991, and it sounds so premonitory for this pandemic age, but in fact, the liner notes to the Blue Lines album, it mention the movie Taxi Driver as an influence, and it's clear that the movie was inspiration for this song's lyrics. The movie stars Robert DeNiro as a paranoid Vietnam vet who drives a taxi at night. He becomes obsessed with saving a child prostitute played by Jodie Foster, and ends up killing some people in his efforts. Yes that is an acupuncture needle, piercing through a point called Bai Hui / Du Mai - 20.

One of my aunt was having somekind of energy treatment by so called "health device", and somehow that device caused energy blockage and thus making her deprived of energy progressively.

Not all so called "expensive health device" is are trully suitable for you.

Oh, you asked why an ophthalmologist know acupuncture? One of my late grandfather was a traditional chinese doctor, and one of my late aunt was an acupuncture specialist. I learned from them many many years ago and now currently learning acupuncture for certification from one health institute in Chengdu, China, for international standardization and recognition.
