Me: Doc, I Can't Stop Singing "The Green, Green Grass Of Home."

Doctor: That Sounds Like Tom Jones Syndrome.

Me: Is That Common?

Doctor: Well, It's Not Unusual.

The house on this island has always left me wondering: What would it really be like to live there?

It's located near the town of Cohasset, MA. I'm not sure why it's named "Doctor's Island" - Sure there's an interesting story.

Here I am auditioning to be the new Doctor. Would anyone like to travel with me?

The 'four doctors' were theologians who established early Christian doctrines.

At left is St Augustine, Bishop of Hippo in Africa (395-430AD). He is flourishing a pen. The right hand panel portrays one of the donors.

A pair of tree doctors sees to the needs of a rare kind of sakura that's been in front of this family home for generations. Both doctors here are women.

For my Doctor Strange I wanted to do something different from everyone else's version and that is that I used e-tape for the robes. The EoA is sculpted and not removable. The cape is two pieces and it's cut from an index card.

The yellow Sinkansen is called "Doctor Yellow" and is the vehicle which checks an overhead power line of the Shinkansen and a rail conditions.

It isn't indicated on a timetable by irregular movement.

The abandoned Maison Dr Pepito, left full of dusty and cobwebbed furniture.

It's just after 10am, but the heat and humidity are already at tropical levels. My shirt was soaked in sweat, but considering the "Doc" is set to retire for good in a few months, I'll bear it. Thank God for Uniqlo dry-fit shirts!

This month's inspection of the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen kicks off earlier than usual as Doctor Yellow departs Tokyo Station. The train is operating the Kodama pathing, meaning it will stop at every single station on the way to Hakata.

With no voice due to a cold, the doctor said take the day to rest your voice and get better. Well, he also said to get fresh air...so when Q148 was reported with CREX 1505 leading, I figured why not go out for a bit!

After several days of thirty degree plus heat, a welcome thunderstorm erupts over the Tweed Shire in New South Wales, bringing with it a refreshing rain, and cooler air.

My sister works in the Baby Hip Clinic and one of the Doctors there is retiring, so she asked if I could make them a cake to give to him. On the cake is some ring splints to keep the babies hips in place and on the cake board is a tape measure… as he is always borrowing everyone else’s as he can never find his own.

Apparently the Doctors are no longer allowed to wear long sleeves or ties anymore due to infection risks… (Well BAM went my idea of a Doctor in his little white coat and smart tie)… so this is the way they dress now, in short sleeve shirts.

Really dull and overcast day so it was impossible to get a good picture.

The bottling company in Dublin TX was once a Dr Pepper bottler. No longer, but it is still in operation, though some of it has been converted to a museum showcasing it's former heyday!

A Google search found a website with a photograph of this same building from 2000; apparently it was the old blacksmith shop. The town was founded in 1894; at one time, around 67 trains a day came thru here. A fire in 1904 devastated the town and although the mines continued to operate, the town went from a population of 1,000 to 250 and died a slow death. At one time, this town had its own hotels, saloons, drug stores, grocery stores, doctors, even an optician and an artist or two.

The original image is a bit dark; a bit of Orton was used to lighten up the shadows.

This was taken from the open observation car on a narrow gauge train that runs from Cripple Creek to this location.

Spring is a fertile time as the mountains explode with the pink and white of cherry blossoms. All sorts of herbs sprout anew as well, full medicinal potency. Many tinctures, unguents, and powders require these herbs, and this is the perfect time for Dr. Hisato and his energetic companion, Jun, to head up the mountainside to gather ingredients. While there are still a few paths high in the mountains, they are very old and rarely used which in many cases makes them all the more beautiful. As delightful as the ride can be, Hisato must still keep an eye on Jun to make sure he doesn’t drag his cart off a cliff chasing after a spring peeper for a snack.
