The top of Saint Publius parish church in Floriana, Malta. (Also known as Floriana Parish Church.)
The church has a long building history, it was begun in 1733 and completed in 1768. But already in 1771 the work on rebuilding the church (starting with the façade) began. Additional building periods came in 1856-1861 and 1884-1892. And then the church got severely damaged by bombings during the Second World War (in March and April 1942 - killing 16 people). The church was reopened after this in 1944 and after the the war the church was properly repaired, a work finished in the end of the 1950s. The work on the interior of the church actually wasn't finished until the end of the 1990s.
The façade of the church is now in Neoclassical style.

When the sun comes out, the architecture of Gothic cathedrals offers many opportunities for the sun's rays play exploring the darkness. St Bavo's Cathedral is no exception.
I waited til the light disappeared to photograph the Wood Ducks that day. The challenge was the other ducks that also occupied the small pond. In the end I was happy with the outcome that evening. Once things start to pick up I'll be posting new things steadily. In the meantime I'll be dipping into the vault!! Click to view on black :)

This sunbeam show was visible for about a mile along the road -- it was the slowest mile I have driven, as I stopped every few metres to take some shots.
But which to post?
I chose this one as it seemed to make the biggest splash (especially as a thumb).
The one immediately below is more subtle, and with that row of trees is the one I think I like best. (And who can resist sheep?)
And the bottom one shines in all directions, and I couldn't resist it
The stairs of the old general store have a di-VINE touch :o).

The coronation of King Saefiraen was a lovely event that was far more beautiful than I'd expected it to be. From the decor to the characters to the narration - the whole scene - it really brought to life the idea of fae that I've always had and I loved it.
During the event, I took a few snaps of pivotal characters (not as many as I'd have liked though because I was trying not to crash). The most pivotal was Saefiraen himself, the new King of the Court of Avis Teannadh.
King Saefiraen is played by Pryar Kirax. Saefiraen is not only roleplayed at Convergence: The Lost City, Pryar also co-owns/runs it with Z.
