Water you up to? Flip flops waiting at the water's edge. Sharing a card I made for the current #simonsaysstamp challenge. I blended Faded Jeans, Broken China and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide inks for the "ocean" and was going to leave the kraft color of the Neenah cardstock be the "sand" but instead I blended Vintage Photo and Antique Linen to give the sand more texture. The waves and flip flop stamps are from older #sss stamp sets (I stamped the flip flops on patterned paper and fuzzy cut them), the sentiment is from the July 2017 card kit. Wish I could be at the beach right now! Do you?🏊♀️🏄♀️

That bikini die from the #simonsaysstamp July kit is just adorable. And that sentiment!😂 Seriously, I wish I had half the wit of whoever comes up with these plays on words. I cut out the die from patterned paper from the kit. The backgrounds were created using Distress inks and #mftstamps stencils (the cloud stencil is particularly fun to use). Also entering this card in #sssmchallenge and #sssflickrchallenge. Hello, summer!

I'm joining the SSSflickrchallenge#71. One of my favorite techniques is Heat Embossing and for this card I did the Emboss Resist technique with the fab Distress Oxide Inks.

I spent some time playing with Distress Oxide Inks and created backgrounds and decorated paper for die cutting.
These are the cards I made from my experiments.
There's a story behind this mower and he will laugh about it. I used Distress Oxides for the clouds and a Lawn Fawn die for the grass. I made my own lawn mower design and cut it with my Silhouette.
A simple card made with the Simon Says Stamp Eucalyptus Leaves die set and a sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Thanks and Encouragement Word Mix 1 stamp and die set. Used Rusty Hinge distress oxide ink for the ink blending. Adding to the SSS flickr challenge.

Upon a Star stamp set and Stitched Fireworks dies from Lawn Fawn - Designed by Cindy Major - Sky background done with Distress Oxide inks
Made this for my daughter’s 11th Birthday. The word die cuts are all from Amazon. Each word is cut out of various teal cs to create an ombré look, triple stacked for dimension & topped with some spectrum noir glitter pen. Added some Oxide ink blending in twisted citron behind each word to make it stand out. Topped it off with some Gansai Tambi gold watercolor splatter & iridescent & pool colored gem stones to add some sparkle. Propped my finished panel (Neenah solar white cs) on some fun foam and finished off the right edge by trimming it down allowing the teal stripped washi tape from Target to show.

I'm entering the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge#90 with the theme "Love/Hearts". I've used the pretty SSS "Swirls and Dots" stencil on my card.
Tried out Jennifer McGuire's technique of Distress Oxide sponging and then painting with water to remove some of the colour. I then painted some of the colours back. I only have three oxide inks...(blue green and red) Very happy with this pretty card using Simon Says Stamp dies and stamps. Am entering this into the SSS Flickr group challenge #92 - my die cut is my focal point.

I had to create a card ASAP using the darling new Pumpkin House die from @lawnfawn for the #lawnfawnatics #challenge Awesome Autumn. I used a large stylus on a hard foam pad to give most of the elements some dimension. I #inkblended the sky and some of the cardstock pieces with #distressoxideinks . I love the way this one turned out!

Distress Oxide Inks-- The sky is Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, and Prize Ribbon. The grass and leaves are Rustic Wilderness blended on top of Cilantro cardstock. I blended Skattered Straw, Wild Honey, and Ripe Persimmon on top of the Fake Tan cardstock pumpkin.

Cosmic colors with Lawn Fawn’s “Out of This World”! Sending Birthday Greeting from my galaxy to yours! Love those itsy bitsy stars from Lucy's Little Things!
Meet Luna the cat. Love these playful kitty silhouettes from @heroarts. I heat embossed them in black, then blended Distress Oxide inks for the background. Decided to trim it down and die cut the sentiment (@annagriffin) from the leftover. I have two beautiful Ragdoll cats, but I have this recurring dream where I also have a beautiful black cat with green eyes. Go figure!
