The most dangerous untruths are truths slightly distorted.

In most styles of music you can no longer do without a distorted guitar. Fortunately, there are Effects devices that provide the appropriate distortion and you no longer have to turn a guitar amplifier up to the stop so that it spits out the coveted dirty tones.

Thank you for your nice comments and the numerous asterisks, which I am very happy about.

I found this while going through my archives and had a little fun playing with it. It was pretty distorted before I started to mess and then it got really cool, I thought. But it also kind of resembles my take on all of the crazy things that are going on in the world right now and here at home. Especially with the whole political craziness going on here in the states and Covid 19.

While everybody in Venice was focused on the carnival, this little detail in the windows at S. Marco really captured my attention. And it seems to be far more suitable to be shared at the times like these.

I tried to make something like the Lensbaby OMNI Creative Filter System using the lid from a Ferrero Roche candy box. The clear plastic top had a pattern of diamonds and triangles pressed into it and creates a distorted and repetitive view when looking through it. I could just buy the system, but I have more fun trying to make things on my own. I sort of liked the effect. These are begonias in our backyard.

It was a tough choice ! I loved how these distorted frames moved and changed in the water.
