From A Distance
From a distance, the world looks blue and green
And the snow-capped mountains white
From a distance, the ocean meets the stream
And the eagle takes to flight
From a distance, there is harmony
And it echoes through the land
It's the voice of hope
It's the voice of peace
It's the voice of every man
From a distance, we all have enough
And no one is in need
And there are no guns, no bombs, and no disease
No hungry mouths to feed
From a distance, we are instruments
Marching in a common band
Playing songs of hope
Playing songs of peace
They're the songs of every man
God is watching us
God is watching us
God is watching us
From a distance
From a distance, you look like my friend
Even though we are at war
From a distance, I just cannot comprehend
What all this fighting's for
From a distance, there is harmony
And it echoes through the land
And it's the hope of hopes
It's the love of loves
It's the heart of every man (every man)
It's the hope of hopes
It's the love of loves
This is the song for every man
And God is watching us
God is watching us
God is watching us
From a distance
Oh, God is watching us
God is watching
God is watching us
From a distance
I like landscape and macro photography and like to drive long distance to find a better scene. HDR, long exposure and portrait are my favorite.
Oh guess I never really wanted you to notice
And I distance myself from you
You don't even know what you like, what you don't like
Oh guess you never even wanted to know this
And I distance myself from you
You don't even know what you like, what you don't like
You don't even know what you like, what you don't like

It's Golden week in Japan which starts April 29 and finishes May 6 this year . sees people , travelling home and visiting family , exploring new destinations and taking advantage of their hard earned time off from work , Unfortunately , we have to spend this holiday at home and social distancing . to avoid the spreading of the virus .. but staying in home does'nt have to be boring , i keep my mind busy with my activities in photography , i wish you a pleasant new week , stay safe and be well my Flickr friend.....
This photo was taken last summer during our three day trek in Hardangervidda National Park, Norway. This is me, looking back to where we had started the same morning, after having spent a (freezing) night in our tents, somewhere in the distance.
Gracias a todos por vuestra visita, amables comentarios y fav/ Thank you all for your visit, kind comments and fav

Bray Head, Co.Wicklow, 5.20am, on a June morning. The old disused tunnel can be seen as a blue dot on the left and the red railway signal light in the foreground.
Killiney Hd, Dalkey Island, Howth Peninsula and Lambay Island are in the distance and the Sealink Holyhead car ferry can be seen heading for Dunlaoire Port. It makes two journeys daily to Anglesea in North Wales.

Im a bit disappointed with this photo really even though its one of my best I think. I shouldnt have done the vignetting as I think it ruined it. Its a pity as the colours are natural. Ill have to try and retake it this year. Flickr is great as You always know how good a photo is by the reaction and thats what its all about. Never fave a photo that you dont think is good enough. Its totally disloyal to the photographer and they wont learn.
If I can find the original Ill do something with this. Delete it possibly!!!!! P@t.

A small break away from my recent work. Have a most wonderful day today!!
I spent an afternoon watching Shorties yesterday, as I hadn't seen any since they were in a nearby country park in winter 2015/16. Great to see these super birds again.
I found this one flying across and perching fairly soon after I arrived at the site. It was at a moderate distance and stretched my lens a bit, not totally ideal and rather close to the sun. To try to get closer and a better angle was not possible as I would simply have been shooting straight into the sun, but sometimes we can't have everything.
Thank you for your faves and comments - much appreciated

I've been away for some time and I'm sorry, life has been oh so busy.. Times are crazy with this virus and I hope you are all safe and practicing social distancing. I've missed you all so, thank you for the kind notes and mails.
Not too sure how long I'll be here but am trying to find time to love my camera again

Another from the holiday in Shierke, Central Germany, down by the reservoir and off into the distance was this very high rising Hot Air Balloon, and here I will admit to a slight phobia, I am really not good with heights, so I guess I will probably not ever get into one.
Though I can imagine the view must be spectacular, which would open itself to an absolute plethora of high altitude photography without the need for drones but instead to actually be there holding the camera, or in my case, holding the camera with increasingly shaky hands.
Another week ahead, I hope everyone is well and so as always, thank you! :)
