So the big one has been done. No more than 10000 words turned I to 15,657 but each of those were needed. Now to the next 4 pieces of work!

"It is what it is" - May SH

I turn in on Friday. All that's left now is stupid stuff: quadruple checking my margins, making sure the spacing/font is consistent, filling in numbers for my tables and figures, and printing it out on wonderful (expensive!) paper.

Thank God.

I printed it out, all 200 unfinished unrevised pages of it. It makes me feel both amazed and terrified.

And no, it's not formated correctly. And yes, that is just a working title. Thank you.

Very boring shot, but I have a feeling I'll have a few of these over the next couple of weeks.

Am incredibly chuffed because I've actually made a start. Ok, almost half of these words are wasted on the contents page and references (I thought it was easier to do these first rather than rush it and panic at the end which is what I usually do) but the rest are my words. I've only done a bit of an intro and an intro into the case study, so haven't even got into the nitty gritty of literature review or starting to back up with quotes.

I know it's going to be hard work and this feeling of "yay" won't last for long, but it has started. And, if I look at the word count, it's actually less than 8000 to go.

Work stacked at eye-level these days. I'm tired. And work all day, thus the lack of sunlit pictures lately. But -- the upside is that you can kinda see the wall color in my office in this photo.
