This ryobi belt and disk bench sander was my Christmas present last December. I finally decided to put it together today. I wanted to sand some dominoes.

On the second floor of the factory is an sander, original to the factory. A disk of sandpaper was glued to the disc and the articulated arms allowed large doors and windows, laid out on the table, to be quickly and evenly sanded. I have never seen another like it.

The disc sander is a favorite weapon of the woodbutcher. Never underestimate the damage it can inflict in the blink of an eye.

Because my dominoes are so small, they are hard to hold onto while I'm sanding them. A push stick is a great tool. This stick is just a piece of scrap from a pile.

I'm using carpet tape, which is double stick, to attach my dominoes onto a stick. I can hold onto the stick and push it onto my belt sander to sand the backs of the dominoes

I'm going to attach the dominoes onto my stick so I can easily sand them using the belt on my bench sander.

Here's some of the dominoes that I've sanded. You can see that I still have stuck to my push stick.

I'm sanding 3 dominoes at once. They are stuck to a stick using double stick tape.

I use a double stick tape to "stick" the dominoes I'm going to sand onto my push stick.
