A fairly large pigeon with obvious black and white facial markings, and a white stripe up the side of the belly to the shoulder. Pale white underwings (Common Bronzewing has reddish underwings). It occurs in the drier parts of eastern Queensland, where it is much rarer in the south than the north. This species is usually observed on the ground, typically on the side of a dirt road. (eBird)

This lovely pigeon had decided that the playground of the local school was the best place to be. Since we were there during a school holiday, we could walk the grounds until we found this lovely pigeon sitting in the shade.

How many of us have a, "memory lane up in the headlights"? I have so many, good times with my family fishing and hiking up in the Sierra Nevada mountains. We actually took this road once just to see what is out there and to see if the fishing was any good. It wasn't but the time spent together was worth now that I look at it.
This vista of the Australian bush is in the Yarra Ranges, North of Healesville in the state of Victoria, Australia.
Ain't it funny how rumors spread
Like I know something ya'll don't know

A good lesson in keeping your perspective is: Take your job seriously but don't take ... A little perspective, like a little humor, goes a long way.........

Day 6 — Stay Home, Stay Healthy!
Next in the series of things I wouldn’t have seen if I hadn’t been home for the coronavirus quarantine. I just planted a couple new bushes that I thought might attract hummingbirds this spring. This robin couldn’t wait for me to finish so he could pluck all the earthworms from the loose soil. What an opportunist.
Stock car racing Midwestern style. Usually done on an unpaved oval track of a half mile or less, this popular weekend diversion really draws a crowd on Saturday night. High powered cars that are basically just a body shell covering a motor and chassis go round and round jockeying for position by bumping, pushing, and drafting each other. The extremely loud roar of the engines adds to the excitement. Definitely a survival of the fittest proposition.
