How many of us have a, "memory lane up in the headlights"? I have so many, good times with my family fishing and hiking up in the Sierra Nevada mountains. We actually took this road once just to see what is out there and to see if the fishing was any good. It wasn't but the time spent together was worth now that I look at it.
A dusty rider in the Virginia Championship Hare Scrambles in Dinwiddie, Virginia. As I was walking this track, I decided to bring two cameras so I could have coverage without changing lenses. I never envisioned how dry and dusty this race was going to be. I would have never removed a lens in these conditions. It took a long time of carefully cleaning the two cameras when I got home
Ain't it funny how rumors spread
Like I know something ya'll don't know
Man that talk is getting old
Man mind your business watch your mouth
Before I have to knock your loud mouth out
I'm tired of talking man ya'll ain't listenin'
Them old dirt roads is what ya'll missin'
A good lesson in keeping your perspective is: Take your job seriously but don't take ... A little perspective, like a little humor, goes a long way.........

Located in a renovated, but not in used - good for photo op, old Standard Oil Gas Station in Ord, Nebraska.
Teller, CO - I took my unsuspecting truck on some dirt roads in the Cripple Creek area (that small town in the distance). Can't remember last time I had this much fun getting lost. If I had stuck to the safer paved roads I would have never witnessed this. Sometimes taking the less obvious paths leads to great rewards. Good thing I had a full tank of gas, water, plenty of beef jerky and a spare tire.
