These tulips are seen so often these days, especially here on flickr....they have also been coming in the Penthouse's environment since almost a month now,...again and again...in variations but mostly pink and white.

Yesterday's grocering bag had also two bouquettes, one in white and a pink one with white petal edges. They inspired some styling play this sunny morning and the outcome can be seen above. A favorite design - toy horse came out of its drawer to add some playfullness, as Spring certainly calls for that.

Eventhough acting like a child when we actually are adults is rather inappropriate and uncharming, being playful can bring some charm in our daily lives. Moreover, it's a nice reminder of other precious characteristics of children's personalities, such as purity, genuine interest and enthusiasm.

So, the wish for this weekend is to be responsible adults, cherishing the child inside us and bringing some of its qualities in our everyday lives.

The above tablescape was a temporary one and pictures of the one as it actually settled and is now, are to follow.

Hope you are spending a lovely Friday and will enjoy a great weekend!

This is the closest photo I can find to the table we just bought. This one is made from two planks of walnut - ours is made from a SINGLE four-foot plank of 2" thick Panamanian Jungle hardwood. This one is nearly FOUR FEET shorter than the one we bought.

This table is selling for over $5,000. Hee hee.

#DiningTable - A nice expandable dining table is synonymous with comfort and ease. But in everyday life, it is difficult to establish his family to table. It is not uncommon for a breakfast on run only takes one in her kitchen. In these cases, a large dining table will not be of any use and instead clutter...

Back before Christmas, my Father-in-law Tom said he wanted to buy a computer.

Tom is 83 years old.

It is his first computer.

Take that in for a bit.

I helped Tom figure out what type of computer to get - he wanted a laptop, so he could move it around. As I was putting together the specifications, I urged him to get a laptop with a built-in webcam. I knew it would be something that Tom & Mary would love.

Fast forward to Christmas, and sneaky me, bought a webcam for Tom & Mary's daughter and her family who live in the Boston area.

This scene shows Tom & Mary and my Karen Sue with their grandson Conor. They're enjoying a long webcam conversation with Lisa.

I think you can tell, that they loved the experience of a webcam, bringing in Lisa, as if she were sitting at the dining table.

We saw, for the first time, Lisa's new dog, Nealy. We got fleeting glimpses of Brennah, and her next-door neighbor Sophie - the busy 8 year olds.

In short, the family got much closer than just a phone-call.

My plans, coming to life before my eyes.

The batteries still have some charge on the noisemakers. Includes a number of toys for entertainment and education.
