La Tossilaggine comune (nome scientifico Tussilago farfara L., 1753) è una pianta erbacea, perenne, dai fiori gialli simili alle “margherite”, appartenente alla famiglia delle Asteraceae. È l'unica specie del genere Tussilago
L'aspetto di queste piante è erbaceo un po' cespitoso. L'altezza della pianta varia da 10 a 30 cm (minimo 5 cm). La forma biologica della specie è geofita rizomatosa (G rhiz); ossia sono piante perenni erbacee che portano le gemme in posizione sotterranea. Durante la stagione avversa non presentano organi aerei e le gemme si trovano in organi sotterranei chiamati rizomi, un fusto sotterraneo dal quale, ogni anno, si dipartono radici e fusti aerei (riproduzione vegetativa); altrimenti queste piante si possono riprodurre anche a mezzo seme.
Parte ipogea: la parte sotterranea consiste in un rizoma strisciante, carnoso e assai profondo, ma fragile. Questa parte del fusto è anche stolonifera e può raggiungere lunghezze anche considerevoli (alcuni testi riportano lunghezze di 2 metri).
Parte epigea: gli steli aerei sono bianchi, non ramificati e ricoperti da fogliette squamose, sempre più rade verso l'apice, e di colore rossiccio. Sia il fusto che le foglie sono ricoperti da un tomento bianco quasi ragnateloso. Dimensione degli steli: 10 – 25 cm. Diametro del rizoma: 1 cm.
Le radici sono secondarie da rizoma.

This photo was an accidental shot. But like many mistake photos (in this case, the overexposed settings) I rather liked the effect and learned something. I found the overblown-out daisy petals, with only the yellow centers visible, interesting - as if they were being transported to another dimension.

Il piro piro piccolo
Quest’uccello si distingue per le dimensioni leggermente più contenute rispetto ai suoi simili: è lungo infatti circa 19 cm. Le parti superiori di dorso e ali sono color bruno-olivastro che contrastano con l bianco di addome e fianchi. Le ali sono barrate di bianco. In Italia è presente nelle regioni settentrionale, con prevalenza nel Veneto. È presente anche nelle aree costiere dell’Adriatico nelle regioni centrali. La sua dieta è a base di insetti e piccoli animali che riesce a trovare nell’acqua con il suo lungo becco. Caratteristiche sono le movenze quando si sposta nell’acqua, con un continuo ondeggiamento della coda in alto e in basso.

People come people go in this vintage one of a kind old diner in an industrial area. This gentleman blended almost a little too well. Popular and well-known this diner has been around for a very long time. The blue-collar workers lineup hungry and anxious for their fresh cooked hot meal. Some silverbacks Wander in Grab a table nurse a cup of coffee in a real mug then anxiously await their meal to then spend a whole lot more time just sitting and blending Till it’s time to disappear.

The time of day that draws me in where electric light and natural evening light meet creating a few moments of a special blend that alters both.
I processed the image with a painterly abstraction expressing my impression of the moment.
