This sheet summarises the graphic elements (both digital print and applied vinyl) required for my model of the DP1 prototype diesel locomotive.
'Building activities with cranes near station Amsterdam-Zuid (South, Amsterdam city'
This colorful monotype shows the recent building activities combined with cranes at the subway-and train-station Amsterdam-Zuid (South), Amsterdam - an unique print, which I made in 2012 as graphic collage art. The original monotype has the size of 19 cm height and 24 cm wide. This unique monotype print is still available.
In 2013 I started to edit digitally the mono-print image for producing ( giclee ) fine art prints on paper, in different sizes. You can mail me for more information and order: hillye@xs4all.nl. Also high-resolution images I can send you by WeTransfer, for printing it for yourself.
As urban graphic artist I am interested in all things of the transport in the city: metro, trams, trains and their tracks. This transport track is circling around the city-center and the 19th century districts. Often I can notice around these tracks the characteristic constructions and style of architecture or design which give a face to a time-period.
I make my collage graphic art from my own photos by using the mono-type technique and by montage of the images from my photography of the modern city.

It was a beautiful project, we printed a #picture of a #castle on #paper, then the paper was pasted on #wooden #panels, the result is exceptional.

I tried once to print an illustration on canvas, but I had been quite disappointed. I tried this time to print one on Plexiglass and I'm quite satisfied, colors are almost the same than on my PC screen.
