Finnish forces who where already in Norway dig in for a possible Canadian assault. Canada please leave Norway, we do not want a war between Finland and Canada. If the Canadians attack us we will try to kick you out of Norway.
Where I live now, we don't seem to have very many windmills so I've had to go digging into the archives!
I got what you need, you feelin' lonely?
I need you to hold me
I hope you mean everything that you told me
I'll try to come back to you, girl, I'm sorry
If you miss me, just call me
You try to diss me 'cause you salty
Did this on my own, it's all me
I just wish that you would call me
Call me
I just wish that you would call me up
Wish that you would call me

I think this the female of a pair of burrowing owls. They've been seen together, for several days now, flying between a couple of burrows that seem abandoned. On Sunday, that included a lot of copulation. After one mating, this bird came over and started scratching out a burrow, sat down in it and then flew away.
I think that in this soil, they'll take an abandoned burrow, but she'll improve it to her tastes, down inside. I suspect that this is ritual digging, that's part of a mating routine.
A new building started in Thanon Si Lom, Bangkok.
The gaffer is the woman this time; but she may not be on the team - maybe an engineer/architect.
I’ve been trying to photograph these guys for six weeks - the security guards open the front doors only to staff and trucks. I had 15 seconds to take my pictures!
Watching him at Porthleven took me way back to when I was a kid when I'd go digging for lugworms for local fishermen.

One of the many things that I love about Poland is the endless amount of cakes that are available. Sweets are definitely a part of life here and so many to choose from too...slowly I am making the rounds and sampling them all! Chocolate, fruit filled, caramel, cream, cheese cake....it seems that there is a shop on every corner. Look for "cukiernia" and you will be in heaven! Not hard on the wallet either, these 2 cost about 7 zloty which is about $2.3 USD.

Sometimes hydrants become a bit clogged up with soil and silt. This one was particularly blocked. We filled 3 buckets of dirt, which was carefully disposed of….and we cleaned up after ourselves
Did you ever dig to China In your own back yard,
Digging through the earth to China In your own back yard?
Ever dig a hole so deep, And lean over far, and peep
At the wondrous land of flowers In your own back yard?

“Art and life are subjective. Not everybody's gonna dig what I dig, but I reserve the right to dig it.”
~Whoopi Goldberg
On my morning walk, I was a digger hunting for big chunky rocks.
