Podobně jako na trati z Mandalaje do Lashia je i železnice z Thazi do Shwenyaungu nucena nastoupat z úrodné barmské nížiny na náhorní plošinu Šanského státu něco přes 1200 výškových metrů. Když se v letech 1914 – 1918 stavěla trať z Thazi do Kalaw, navrhli angličtí inženýři, opět podobně jako u starší trati (1899) do Lashia překonat v úseku Leybin – Sintaung nejnáročnější stoupání soustavou čtyř úvratí, tedy míst kde vlak mění směr jízdy, aby mohl lépe stoupat po úbočí svahu hlubokého údolí řeky Pinnwe. Na kratší vzdálenosti je tak možné nastoupat větší výšku, než za použití stavebně náročnějších protisměrných smyček a oblouků. I tak zde stoupání dosahuje místy více než 40 ‰ což, zvláště za parního provozu, způsobovalo mnohé provozní obtíže. Osobní vlak Rangún - Thazi - Kalaw – Shwenyaung tak zastavil ve staničce Leybin, ukrytou hluboko v horách, aby si nejen cestující, převážně turisté mířící k jezeru Inle, mohli odpočinout a občerstvit se před dalším náročným stoupáním.

My entry for the Real World +200 Starfighter Contest
The DF-47 "Hawk" is a polyvalent starfighter designed by the Mars Conglomerate. Its main missions are patrolling the borders and escorting freighters.
Its aerodynamic shape and control surfaces allow the DF-47 to fly in the low-density atmosphere of Mars. It is armed with two 19mm gun, firing perforating needle bullets. The fighter compensates its lack of armoring by an excellent maneuverability, using 16 RCS thrusters and a group of 3 CMGs, and a high precision radar coupled to the navigation computer.
The DF-47 is equipped with the last generation LO2/LH2 hybrid rocket engine for initial thrust and acceleration, and six MPD thrusters to maintain speed.
Two solar panels are installed on each wing and protected by a liftable cover.
Just got my Nikon Df and am waiting for battery to charge. I've shot with a Nikon camera since the 70's when I used my father's Nikkormat FTn. I knew I had to have this camera. I know many won't like it; but its not for you. My old F3 is lurking in the shadows in this shot.
Rotala, Diamond Bus 32239 SK19EYP Wright Streetlite DF based at the Kidderminster depot at the time. It was originally new to Wrightbus of Ballymena as a demonstrator. It is seen loading in Bromsgrove bus station with a 202 to Halesowen. This bus was on loan to Kidderminster depot from Wrightbus it also later spent time at the Bolton depot to before returning to Wrightbus.
