Devil's tower night shot. Looking for a close encounter. Moonless night. About 5 min. exposure at 3200 ISO and 2.8. I did have a close encounter when a deer suddenly stepped out from behind a bush about 5 feet in front of the camera calmly munching on the campground grass.
The famous Devil's Teeth mountains in Senja (Okshornan) under cloud at sunset. I shot this from near Ersfjord beach as the viewpoint up the coast was closed off for building works. The rocky shoreline still provided a good foreground.

As a result of the San Andreas Fault’s motion, slabs of pale granite have been exposed and weathered into fantastic formations at the Devil’s Punchbowl. The paler streaks in the center of this image show the punchbowl against the darker rock of the mountains.

As we were hiking around Devils Tower, we saw a group of climbers ascending Devils Tower. The view at the top must be spectacular.
