Winchester developed from the Roman town of Venta Belgarum, which developed from an Iron Age oppidum. Winchester's major landmark is Winchester Cathedral, one of the largest cathedrals in Europe, with the distinction of having the longest nave and overall length of all Gothic cathedrals in Europe. The city is also home to the University of Winchester and Winchester College, the oldest public school in the United Kingdom. The city's architectural and historic interest, and its fast links to other towns and cities have led Winchester to become one of the most expensive and desirable areas of the country.
Eagle Model 10
Originally developed and built specifically for Continental Trailways by Kassbohrer and later manufactured in Belgium by La Brugeoise the Eagle brand was eventually offered on the international open market. From 1974 onward manufacture was moved to Brownsville, Texas. In 1987 Continental Trailways and Eagle were acquired by Greyhound but following that company's subsequent bankruptcy the production of Eagle buses for the US market declined rapidly. Latterly the company moved to Mexico to build for that market but despite initial success eventually expired.

The Mission of Turning Point Ministries (TPM) Church is to develop believers into mature Disciples of Christ so that we know how to effectively witness to unbelievers. As a mature believer each member will have an accurate understanding of God’s word and be able to discern truth from error. The Mission is based on the ministry and work of Jesus Christ according to St. Luke 4:18-19. In an effort for Turning Point Ministries Church to fulfill its mission each member will know their gift and calling for service within this local body of believers.

Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church and School: 1967-2009
September 15th is the memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows. Simeon predicted that a sword would pierce Mary’s heart (Luke 2:35) and the Church honors her seven sorrows. There have been two churches with this title in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, one in Monroe and the other in Roselawn, pictured above, which closed in 2009. Take from The Catholic Telegraph issue dated 28 September 1967, the caption reads,
“Archbishop Karl J. Alter addresses parishioners at the newly renovated Our Mother of Sorrows Church, Cincinnati [Roselawn]. The school cafeteria was converted into a church to accommodate a larger number of persons. Parishioners performed most of the work, according to Father Andrew J. Hoying, pastor. The dedication ceremony was held on the feast of the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Sept. 15.”

The letter C
A result from attempt #3 of developing E6 film, Lomography X-Pro 200, in B&W then C41 chemistry. This time, I developed in Rodinal 1:25 at 38C/102F for 30 minutes, fogged the film for 3.5 minutes on each side, then developed in Unicolor/Argentix developer at 38C/102F for 25 minutes, followed by 6.5 minutes in blix.
E6 chemistry is not the easiest for me to get, plus its shelf-life is short, and I don't shoot too much E6, so those are the reasons for me for trying this method. I only have another 2 rolls of E6 film; two other Lomography X-Pro 200 rolls. I may try this method, with some alterations again, or cross process them. Don't think Rodinal and Lomography X-Pro 200 are the most ideal, but just experimenting with what I have available at the moment; it produces a lot of grain and an orange tint, which needs to be colour corrected. I read that Provia 100 and HC-110 is a good combo.

- They shared similar styling, albeit that the AC6 had a longer bonnet than its four cylinder sibling and a "SIX" monogram in the grille.
- The completely new AC 6, (with Citroëns first 6 cylinder ever) was Citroëns top model.
- The body is complete made of steel, rear wheel drive and three speed manual gearbox forward + a reverse gear.
- A foot operated pedal is operating on the front and rear (☺!) drums brakes.
- The front and rear suspension has semi elliptical springs.
- The C6s were very luxurious and could be delivered with a driver glass partition, a car radio (Citroën was the first European manufacturer to do so), acoustic telephone, etc..
- And in 1929, Citroën was the first to introduce one full year warranty on new cars.
- They were available in a range of 11 luxury bodywork options (5 "open" and 6 "closed").

- The C4F became also a "moteur flottant", a 1767cc straight-4 with 32 bhp / 2.700 rpm..
- In fact, the processes were developed in response to the theoretical studies of vibrations by two French engineers, Pierre Lemaire and Paul Aubarède.
- The C6E Cabriolet is only made since the end of 1929.
- In 1930 a special C6 was offered to Pope Pius XI by the Italian subsidiary of Citroën.

When I finished processing this roll of film, I was intrigued by a shadow I discovered on the rock wall on the center-right of the background. It has the appearance of a gigantic indian warrior holding a shield.

The Guggenheim's shines quite a bit. More than 33.000 titanium sheets conform the outer skin of the building.
The sculpture on the right side is called The Tall Tree and the Eye by the Indian artist Anish Kapoor. It fits perfectly with the building.

(This is developed from the raw file. Mistakenly uploaded the Jpeg file last night.) Little light, showers this evening at Stillwater. Note to self, met a couple on bikes, Terry and Michael, regulars on the trail, casual birders. Two weeks ago, they saw an all blue colored bird on the trail to the south, across the hwy. After a discussion and showing them pics on bird app, they ID'd the bird as an Indigo Bunting. They have not seen it since.
Since developing a fever on February 3, Siu has not set foot outside her rooftop shanty home, except for once to visit the hospital.
In their 240 square foot home, she and her
husband, his 60-year-old mother, and their
three sons - the youngest of whom is just
eight-months-old - have spent more than two
weeks waiting to be relocated to a government
Covid-19 quarantine facility, Siu told HKFP.
Siu’s family share the only bathroom they have and eat in the same space with each other. “We only took off our masks when it became too exhausting, but you simply cannot tell a three-year-old to wear a mask on all the time,” the 38-year-old mother said.
Siu was working in the cosmetics industry but has been on maternity leave since giving birth to their youngest son. The family’s financial burden then rested solely on her husband, who worked as a private driver but lost his job since the “home quarantine” began.
Siu said they have been burning through their savings as the family had no way of obtaining any income since the Lunar New Year holidays. She also said they were not able to apply for any governmental subsidies as they could not leave. “It feels like we are left to die, do you understand?” she said. (HKFP)

Highland canopies have eyes at Foyers Falls 5 pictures

The trees do not have eyes at Foyers, but they so have great wind broken and tree developed shapes to scour the skies yet they are not antennae. See a sky through the trees and take one and then another picture. Take these two pictures and with each make some reflections of the originals. The highland light and colours are fantastic and they make a photo on their own. Here the pines reach into a seemingly endless sky. The hills at the other side of Loch Ness through the pines look magnificent. Everything together was an excellent scene.
