Hello there! I hope all is well my friends! I am such a pizza person and Margherita is my favorite type/flavor of pizza. Now I have a beautiful one in-world. This is a mega post featuring the West Village Pacific Patio Fatpack and the set is new to the Belle Event. After the event it will be at the mainstore! The Fatpack has so many amazing things in it. My inspiration was a beautiful patio dining area to enjoy not only the food and company but the view. This is what I came up with using these items. Full details are on the blog. Detailed view of El Paso, Texas and Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. The red "X" is the Plaza de la Mexicanidad, the border wall between the US and Mexico can be seen in front of the plaza. This shot is actually a small piece of the panoramic view that I'll post next. I processed it to get an idea of the detail in the pano image that's hard to see even on flickr. As I worked on it, I liked it and a location I'll have to visit with a telephoto lens.
A detailed image of the fiery sunrise we had the opportunity to contemplate from home a week ago.
The reddish and orange clouds reflect the bright sunlight creating interesting contrasts with the blue sky.

This beautiful Hawk* was found out in Idaho sitting on an irrigation wheel - calling out to its mate to warn it that I am near. The mate was on the ground about 500 feet away hunting as well. (* --I believe a Red Tail or Red Shoulder - need to see wings open to tell.)

A water lily reveals its component parts.
This lily lives in an environment with heavy, high, tree overhang, open shadow. The petals pick up the ambient light, the water and surroundings not so much, and I knock down the brightness in area outside the petals.
After my accident with my HD I have not been abel to shoot new photos. So when I don't have anything to show you I'm not so active here. Hopefully my love for Flickr will return again soon when I get some new photos to work with on my own.

For over 50 years, he has been making extremely detailed paintings and meter-high polyptychs with self-made paint and gives his own twist to classical genres.

I detailed the other night the saga leading up to this moment, a photo which I badly wanted. After building their train, CSX L245 throttled up to head to Hopewell, Virginia in gorgeous late evening light. The 2 vintage EMDs put on an unbelievable show, prime movers thundering getting the heavy train rolling out of Collier Yard. I was not around to photograph the Glory Days when this power ruled the rails, so I do my best to seek it out and shoot it whenever I can, because I appreciate that it will not be around forever. Both of these engines in this photo are pretty rare for a class-1, a former Reading GP39-2, and a former Penn Central Geep in YN2.
