Setting myself the challenge of finding many different ways to photograph this beauty...Very lucky to have moved here recently so expect more :)
This is my original Lower Whitfield Gill Force image that i used to create the "Dark side of the Force" image i posted back in December. The rock details help to make this a very rewarding little waterfall to photograph.

Hello there! I hope all is well my friends! I am such a pizza person and Margherita is my favorite type/flavor of pizza. Now I have a beautiful one in-world. This is a mega post featuring the West Village Pacific Patio Fatpack and the set is new to the Belle Event. After the event it will be at the mainstore! The Fatpack has so many amazing things in it. My inspiration was a beautiful patio dining area to enjoy not only the food and company but the view. This is what I came up with using these items. Full details are on the blog. In thinking of gourds, most people would think of pumpkins, or perhaps the bright colors for the season...but in photographing these gourds, I particularly like the detailed lines that are so evident. What a distinct element! Hope you enjoy!

A bit of a departure here. This was simply a low-lying tree full of snow rendered from several different filters in Nik, On One, and Smart Photo Editor, all in PSE12. I tried it in B&W but preferred the colored version. Hope you can stand it. Thanks for looking!

The bas-relief carving is showcasing Seshat, an ancient Egyptian deity - the goddess of wisdom, knowledge, writing -
wearing her distinctive headdress featuring a seven-pointed star and two inverted plumes. She is shown in profile, a common artistic convention in ancient Egyptian art, with her arms extended in a record-keeping gesture.
Another deity figure - Thot - is partially visible to the left, also in profile, interacting with Seshat.
The background and surrounding areas are densely covered with intricate hieroglyphic carvings, which appear to be well-preserved. These inscriptions would likely detail the actions of the figures depicted, religious texts, or historical records related to the monument's construction or purpose.

A water lily reveals its component parts.
This lily lives in an environment with heavy, high, tree overhang, open shadow. The petals pick up the ambient light, the water and surroundings not so much, and I knock down the brightness in area outside the petals.
A wonderful detailed and moody designed Place. A very good place for a visit with a famous lookalike Diner.
