Shot near Central Park. These are the actual colors on the structure.I just enhanced them a little.I don't exactly know which street I took this shot, but between 59th and 79th streets there are many old mansions that once were owned by some of NYC elite from the 19th century. Some of them have been converted into embassies and museums. Most of the museums are strewn along 5th Avenue between 82nd and 104th streets in what is known as Museum Mile.

Details from a fence surrounding the beautiful Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, in St. Petersburg, Russia. “The Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood (Russian: Церковь Спаса на Крови, Tserkovʹ Spasa na Krovi)[a] is a former Russian Orthodox church in Saint Petersburg, Russia which currently functions as a secular museum. The structure was constructed between 1883 and 1907. It is one of Saint Petersburg's major attractions. The church was erected on the site where political nihilists assassinated Emperor Alexander II in March 1881. The church was funded by the Romanov imperial family in honor of Alexander II, and the suffix "on [Spilled] Blood" refers to his assassination.”

Before the sun shone directly on the water in the morning and outshone it, I "played" a bit with exposure times and details.

The water has such a high falling speed that 1/8 to 1/10 exposure time is sufficient to make it soft and yet with a certain movement.

Today's theme is Australian wildflowers. First, details from a Bottlebrush tree or Callistemon citrinus. This is an evergreen shrub named for the spikes of the flowers that grow at the end of the branches, with a close resemblance to a bottle brush.

As a native Australian plant, the bottlebrush prefers warm temperatures. The bottlebrush tree will fill your garden with a delicious lemony citrus smell while filling your garden with vibrant red-coloured flowers. Birds, butterflies and other insects will flock to your yard to drink the sweet nectar from their flowers.

Cyanotrichite, detail (832)

21.5x16.5x15cm

Qinglong Mine, Qinglong, Qianxi'nan Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou, Southwest Region, China.

Cyanotrichite is a secondary mineral of the oxidation zone of copper deposits. Its genesis seems facilitated by an acid environment and a clayey surrounding. It owes its name to the Greek kuanos (blue) and thrix (hair) in connection with its color and its habitus in tufts of acicular crystals. It comes in orthorhombic fibers assembled in radiate rosettes, urchins with velvety aspect and silky luster. Its sky blue to azure blue color and its pale blue streak are characteristic as well as its association with other arsenates and sulphates of copper (chalcophyllite, spangolite, brochandite, adamite, etc...). It is a mineral little known to collectors who has no particular use.

Bank of Commerce Palace , a monumental building that houses the Craiova City Hall, is one of the most famous buildings in the city , is a stately building, built on a four-level quadruple plan, in an eclectic style with obvious neo-Romanian elements.

The Bank of Commerce was designed by architect Ion Mincu in 1906 and completed in 1916 by his student, Constantin Iotzu .

The oil painting was painted by someone named Bos.

Unfortunately, I have no information about this painter.

The painting belonged to my parents and hangs somewhere in my house.
