If I chase Vas'ka off my desk, he always looks at me in amazement: "Am I bothering you ?!" It seems to him that he only helps, that without him I am bored!
Happy Caturday!

The monitor stand is actually a laptop tray I picked up at Walmart for $25. It's just enough room from my monitor and keyboard. The keyboard at that height actually works better for me and the tray raises the monitor to eye level. It also opens up more workspace on the desk.
Going back to images from my recent trip to Italy, this is a desk located inside Doge's palace in Venice. Its position in the room, heavy shadows, and lines created by the wood beams and floor planks really caught my eye. It was a very interesting tour.
It's my desk again. Haha!
Sorry for not visiting your streams, I will try my best during the weekend! :)
Any time I've had a desk, anywhere, throughout my entire life, there has always been a drawer where things go to be forgotten. The only time I clean it out is when the stuff starts to jam up and I can't get it closed or worse, open. The area of the image is just less than 75mm and I used a Canon FD 50mm f3.5 Macro lens at f8 and stacked a handful of pictures to get as much in focus as possible. HMM and thanks to everyone that stops here to look, like and maybe write a comment.
I got these vintage desk and chair in 'flee market' today. A little corner for me, at my daughter' place
Thanks to Lenabem-Anna for the texture:))
This weeks theme in Macro Mondays is desk. On my desk there is a lot of items that I use for making nail art and doing my nails. So this is a fan brush that use now and then when I need it.
What's beyond this planet, what we don't know...that is immeasurably large and infinite, beyond our wildest imaginations.
HMM!
whatta mess.
but leon needs to do some repairs on it and I'll have to clean it then.

Finally, my 3 essays are completed for Uni and I've managed to tidy up my massive stack of books from the side of my desk
My eMac is now at the other side of the room
Hola.....stasera un po così, pensavo tra me e me sull'importanza del lavoro degli impegni.
Zomberos quante volte avete "dovuto" rinunciare?
buenas noche
Macro Mondays Theme Desk.. things thereon. My Jabra headset lives on my desk and gets used for phone calls, Zoom and sometimes I just listed to music whilst I am working. This is one of the earpieces, with some of the ridiculous, too numerous and too bright blue LEDs on my Lacie Backup drive in the background.

I've been very busy at this desk the last couple of weeks (but can't show you any of it)
This is my squeezy desk with my MacBook Pro 15", ancient 19" Viewsonic monitor, iPhone 3G 16Gb (in dock), 2 - Western Digital MyBook 500Gb external hard drives...and a 7-port hub to handle everything...oh, and a TWiT (This Week in Tech) wallpaper!
* 29th Nov 08* I just added a little 160Gb external for photos. Now there's a dedicated drive just for pics.
In Hong Kong our homes are tiny and so the desk is tiny too. =)
** The lid closing/open thing is sorted now...running monitor with MBPro lid closed no prob =) **
Oh yeah, added a 640Gb WD external early '09
One more added...a 640Gb Buffalo External HD...I think 2.5Tb should do for now hehe
...oh, and I just replaced (September 09) my original 120Gb MacBook Pro 5400rpm drive with a 320Gb 7200rpm drive. Did a bit for machine speed. =)
