Château de Versailles. Galerie des Glaces - Hall of Mirrors.
Begun in 1678 and completed in 1684. “It was decorated in the most lavish style by Charles Le Brun and other famous artists of the day. Opposite the seventeen large arched windows, which command a beautiful view of the gardens, are as many beveled mirrors in the Venetian style, set in elegant frames by Cucci. The walls are faced with the finest marble and adorned with large trophies in bronze-gilt, modeled by Coyzevox.” [Baedeker] The treaty of Versailles ending World War I was signed in the Hall of Mirrors in 1919.

Avec de gauche à droite: le Zinalrothorn (alt. 4221 m), le Pigne de la Lé, le Glacier de Moiry, le Grand Cornier et la Dent Blanche.
Dans cette seconde décennie de la généralisation de l'usage des appareils de prises de vues numérique, les ambiances de concerts se modifient. Les photographes sont parfois plus nombreux que les spectateurs. Ils deviennent des acteurs du spectacle en formant un mur de dos entre l'artiste et le public. On peux voir toute les gammes d'appareils issus des meilleurs catalogues comme des plus mauvais. Parfois au milieu des photophones et des compacts surgit une vieille Retinette© ou un Canonet©, ultimes survivants de l'ère analogique. La musique et la passion de la photographie se sont finalement complétement démocratisées. Mais, putain, y a plus moyen de bosser, ni même de se taper un bon concert peinard !
Grab des Paschedu, TT 3
Der Inhaber des Grabs des Paschedu, TT 3, war Vorarbeiter und Diener am Platz der Wahrheit und lebte in der Ramessidenzeit. Er besaß zudem ein zweites Grab, das Grab TT 326. Sein Vater hieß Men(e)na, seine Mutter Huj. Mit seiner Ehefrau Nedjembehdet besaß er zwei Söhne, Men(e)na und Kaha, und eine Tochter.
Das Grab wurde 1834 erstmals vom Reisenden Robert Hay (1799–1863) erwähnt.
We had visited the Jardin des plantes in the 5th arrondissement last summer but hadn’t taken the time to visit the four large greenhouses that are located in the Garden. We remedied this oversight a few weeks ago on a beautiful late summer Saturday. And as a bonus, there was a funny exhibition, “Hybridations”, by artist Alexis Tricoire, which was to expose among the plants, plant and animal creations made from objects from recycling material of the French Brush industry. Interesting!
