Simply for Giggles room design in the Des Moines HomeShow Expo 2008. Mural painting, Thank You Baby Bedding, Natart Furniture, Rug Market Rugs, Moonlight Slumber Mattress. The cool thing about this bed is that it converts from crib to twin bed! Great for families that don't want to garage sale a crib and don't have room for a full bed in the kids rooms.
Our client wanted us to build a one-of-a-kind bedroom for a one-of-a-kind son. We concepted a space ship, race car, and castle before landing on this design. What self-respecting six year old wouldn't want a pirate ship?
The third book in Victionary (tongue-in-cheek) Design for Kids series is an ingenious mix of the art of tattoo and contemporary graphic design. As contributors, we were asked to illustrate a set of custom tattoos and corresponding art incorporating those tattoos. For our part in the collaboration, we modernized classic tattoo elements with crisp lines and bold shapes to evoke feminine strength. To enhance the overall concept, select artwork was reproduced as temporary tattoos included with the book.
