To contrast with the chill, designer lifestyle of the last male shoot, I decided to shoot these photos downtown. I wanted it to be hip, active and urban.

I knew I wanted the Hawaii Theatre marquee in the background, I just didn't know how hard it would be to properly light and compose a shot with it.

The background was littered with people and cars, so instead of hiding them from the shot, I made them part of the action using a slow shutter speed. The monotone look helped the model stand out.

And I'll say it now: it is tough to light African American models with only two small strobes! But, once you figure out the perfect combination, it's easy.

A pair of Corgis I once took care of a few years back.

I've always loved the Indian and middle eastern cultures with their rich colors, silks, and jewelry! So when I went to the arcade and saw this outfit, I went crazy and had to have it! It was the first time I played gachas, and I must say that it's sooo thrilling! What a rush, wow!
