An old barn along the Kettle Valley Rail Trail near Tulameen British Columbia. I've seen and photographed this barn a few times, but this was the first time that I have seen it during winter. I prefer this snowy shot rather than the brown grass that I have seen around it before.

Welwyn Garden City was founded by Sir Ebenezer Howard in 1920 following his previous experiment in Letchworth Garden City. Howard had called for the creation of planned towns that were to combine the benefits of the city and the countryside and to avoid the disadvantages of both.

This is what remains of the Nabisco shredded wheat factory in Welwyn Garden City , it was built in 1926 and is now a grade 2 listed building , production stopped in 2008 and has become more derelict over the years , but still an iconic building

Walking to Cymer Abbey, we came across this building. One can only wonder at its former look - it looks like a very interesting building in its time. Sadly I can find no history of it anywhere.

Another of my favourite old rusty tubs seen high and dry on a walk out to Blakeney Point at the weekend. We have visited this boat a few times but it definitely looks more derelict and rusty than I remember with great holes in its side.
