Quel giorno mi aggiravo per Porto Caleri in cerca di uno scorcio da fotografare. C'era una donna seduta sul muricciolo del molo, si alzò e andò via. Pensai di sedermi al suo posto e stare lì in attesa di un qualcosa che nemmeno io sapevo cosa. E sono rimasto lì per un po' ad osservare le nuvole formarsi e disfarsi e il silenzio era rotto solo dalle voci di gabbiani e sterne in un continuo andirivieni...

El Parque natural del Delta del constituye una de las zonas húmedas más amplias de la Europa mediterránea.
El Delta del Ebro nos ofrece un marco de naturaleza incomparable, único y singular. Un paisaje de una gran riqueza biológica que reúne una diversidad de flora y fauna, de un valor incalculable.
El paisaje del Delta tiene una fuerte personalidad. Las tierras totalmente planas le dan un aspecto particular. Los extensos arrozales, cambiantes según las estaciones (terrosos en invierno, inundados de agua a la primavera, verdes en verano), dominan la fisonomía del Delta.
El Ebro es el hilo conductor de esta tierra ricas en agricultura , una de las grandes bases económicas actuales del Delta, con un predominio claro del arroz.
La huerta y los árboles frutales ocupan pequeñas superficies.
Y todo ello salpicado de bonitas barracas tradicionales hechas con barro y cañas y techo de carrizo y que se han convertido en una de las mejores opciones de turismo rural de la zona.
Se trata de una apuesta turística sostenible y respetuosa con el medio ambiente que recupera una forma de vida ya desaparecida.

Spotted this Heron early one morning from a photo boat in one of the channels just as the sun was starting to come through in the Danube Delta, Romania.
