Broadway is a large village and civil parish within the Cotswolds, located in the county of Worcestershire, England. It is situated in the far southeast of Worcestershire and very close to the Gloucestershire border, midway between the towns of Evesham and Moreton-in-Marsh. It is sometimes referred to as the "Jewel of the Cotswolds".
Broadway village lies beneath Fish Hill on the western Cotswold escarpment. The "broad way" is the wide grass-fringed main street, centred on the Green, which is lined with red chestnut trees and honey-coloured Cotswold limestone buildings, many dating from the 16th century. It is known for its association with the Arts and Crafts movement, and is situated in an area of outstanding scenery and conservation. The wide High Street is lined with a wide variety of shops and cafes, many housed in listed buildings.
I was craving a sandwich from Lucca’s deli but had no idea if it is still open, It has been years since I was in the deli and Covid changed everything in the bay area and many restaurants are permanently closed. I was so happy to find the deli was open And looked and smelled Wonderful. It still has the old school look with great vibes. The sandwich and salad was delicious. So glad this place is still open for business what a treat.

They have t-shirts and coffee mugs of this painting for sale in the restaurant. I have 2 of the coffee mugs.
*This is one of my favorite deli's to get a great Corned beef on Rye. My 2 other favorites are Katz's Deli in NYC, and The Corned Beef House in Toronto.

Deli in the food hall TorvehallerneKBH in Copenhagen. A good place to grab some food if you don't mind the elevated prices.
Dans le pas des chevaux je pose un cœur léger,
Esquivant du crottin le bonheur éphémère,

Jaillie en écumant telle pleurs de ventelles,
L'eau s'apaise plus loin en courants disloqués;
De l'écluse, entrouvrant ses deux vantaux busqués,
Pénichette s'enfuit déliant ses attelles.
La nature assourdit d'un silence qui bruit;
Les oiseaux, à tue-tête, ont le trille qui vrille,
L'étang voisin résonne autant qu'une escadrille,
Rainettes coassant d'en briguer l'usufruit.
Passant sur l'autre berge, un pêcheur interpelle
Un confrère, guettant l'apathique bouchon,
Sur son pliant séant ainsi que patachon,
"Hier j'ai pris ici de l'ablette bien belle !"
Laissant la rive noble aux joggeurs du dimanche,
Je foule l'herbe folle, au sol souple à mon pas,
Rentrant rassasié, la Nature en repas,
Quand l'iris me salue et s'ombre sous la branche.

This fast food snack stop is located on the open starboard deck area of the Queen Mary. For me I liked this image for it's contrasting scene from my vantage point, but there is something wrong about plunking a few tables and chairs on the open deck under the life boats. It detracts from the nostalgic and historical beauty this grand vessel has to offer. I went online to get some info on this deli but found nothing good, only bad to terrible reviews. That should be a signal to the gatekeepers.

126 Lexington Avenue, Manhattan, New York (northeast of Madison Square Park). From a color slide taken in the 1990s. The store has since moved to other locations. The travel agency located next door specialized in travel to South Asia.
Shreveport's oldest restaurant, Fertittas was opened in 1927 and has been run by the same family since then. Famous for the muffaletta sandwich. Made on a round Sicilian sesame bread the Italian Po-boy sandwich is made of layers of an olive mix, salami, ham, swiss cheese, provolone and mortadella. Delicious.
The original "Muffy" was created at the Central Grocery in New Orleans in 1907.

This little independent deli cafe is open Tuesday to Saturday and offers cooked to order breakfasts from 9am to 11am and lunch from 11.30am until 2.30pm. They have bespoke roast coffee and serve hot and cold drinks and cakes until 3pm.
Veggie, Vegan and Gluten-Free options available.

Το γεφύρι του Ντελή βρίσκεται βορειοανατολικά του χωριού Ξηρόκαμπος Καλαμπάκας. Είναι μονότοξο μήκους 17,50 μ, με ημικυκλικό τόξο ανοίγματος 7,80 μ. και γεφυρώνει τον ποταμό Μπουτζά που χύνεται στον ποταμό Ιωνά παραπόταμο του Πηνειού. Χτίστηκε το 1860 και για τον χορηγό του υπάρχουν δύο εκδοχές. Η μία είναι οτι χορήγος ήταν ο Τούρκος πασάς Ντελής. Η άλλη θεωρία είναι όμως οτι ο Ντελής ήταν ένας αρματολός της περιοχής των Χασίων. Το υλικό κατασκευής του γεφυριού είναι η πέτρα της περιοχής.Το γεφύρι επισκευάσθηκε το 2008 με ευθύνη της διεύθυνσης τεχνικών υπηρεσιών της νομαρχίας Τρικάλων στα πλαίσια του προγράμματος "Πίνδος".
