This was once the entrance to a tiny harbour, a jetty and a docked schooner
Location: Katseveer, bank of the Oosterschelde (Zeeland)
Some woodtextures of a huge trunk laying down in a park with the late afternoon light.
There were rotten parts and also damaged parts by a fire. The trunk has been an object of nature for a few years now, but it was from a tree of more as 500 years old. Its width is about 1.80 meter or almost 6 feet. This was cut down before it really fell upon somebody.

I was attracted by the remaining hint of color in the petals and the contrast with the glow of the still-blooming flower behind them. Denver Botanic Gardens
A few traces of blue canvas still adorn this decaying Rockford area barn in what was a futile attempt to slow its decay many years ago. It is the last remaining structure of a once proud farm that was probably sold off for land development many years ago. Progress has its price...
