He is deciding what to have, the choice is..... Diced Peanuts*, Sunflower Seeds, Crunchy Peanut Butter or Suet Pellets.

* Young chicks can choke on whole Peanuts so I spend 15 minutes chopping them up using my Wife's best cleaver, please don't tell her.

Oklahoma is home to the most marijuana dispensaries per capita of any state in the USA. Known as the "Wild West of Weed," there are more dispensaries (over 2,000) currently operating in the state then there are gas stations. There are about 36 shops for every 100,000 residents.

Medical marijuana cardholders are allowed to purchase up to three ounces of marijuana flower at once from a dispensary. They are allowed to have a total of eight ounces of cannabis in their private residence.

Flower, which is “traditional” marijuana bud, is the most popular product with 49% of transactions compared to only 13% for Edibles, the next highest.

The mini-brood is pushing me to stay active with shooting. Last night, my partner in crime, Juli Ann, and the tiniest member of the clan, Makayla, pulled out some random gear and threw a camera in my hand. So, I look at this as a practice sketch of a portrait; experimenting with some unfamiliar techniques.

I also think Makayla just wanted her reward of a cheeseburger for playing subject.

The Rock of Dunamase is in County Laois, Ireland and it sits 151 feet above the surrounding plain with the ruins of Dunamase Castle sitting on top of it.

In 1152 the King of Leinster, Diarmuid MacMurrough, abducted Dervorgilla the wife of Tiernan O’Rourke, the Prince of Breffni, although some accounts suggest she willingly eloped with Diarmuid who was in his 60s and she in her 40s.

MacMurrough conveyed Dervorgilla to Dunamase Castle and she would have been very familiar with this view, often standing where I was standing when I took this photo.

After enlisting the help of the O'Connor clan, O’Rourke rescued his wife the following year when the O'Rourkes and O'Connors drove MacMurrough from Dunamase Castle and a state of war continued until eventually MacMurrough went to England seeking assistance from the kIng, Henry II, which ultimately resulted in the English invasion of Ireland.

In 1170 MacMurrough gave both Dunamase Castle and his daughter's hand in marriage to the Norman conqueror Strongbow, as part of the deal made to enlist Strongbow’s help and the Norman invasion of Ireland then followed when Strongbow accompanied MacMurrough, along with many men, to attack and regain MacMurrough’s lands.

It is acknowledged that MacMurrough bears the direct responsibility for bringing in the English which resulted in English rule over Ireland for the next 700 years. If Dergorvilla willingly eloped, she has an indirect responsibility. She eventually entered a convent at Mellifont where she passed away at age 85 in 1193.

This little community is just north of our city on Georgian Bay. It may be very small but it certainly offers a lot. In the distance is one of three islands that can be seen from the shore. The one to the left is White Cloud Island and we have anchored there for the weekend many times when we had our sailboat. It was a wonderful spot. The island you see in the center is Griffith Island. It houses a private sport shooting club on its grounds. On this day, the boat is coming to pick up workers going back to the club while bringing back workers who are off until the spring again.

Yes, this is the Stone Skipping Capital of Canada. Just look at the plentiful stones on the beach and most of them quite flat. Perfect for stone skipping! And the waves just bring them back in again with a good storm. There is no other experience like skipping stones while eating homemade ice cream from the Big Bay General store! It really is a big deal.

Following an observation by the CEO of Umbellifers Unlimited Miss Lindsey1611 that people had taken liberties and posted non authentic Umbellifers, e.g. feet etc, I thought it would be nice to help the good lady out and try and come up with a genuine Umbellifer for the group she oversees with much dedication, which in turn eats into her precious drinking time.

I have sought the expertise of the CEO and have been assured this is Queen Ann’s Lace, not to be confused with hogweed😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Thank you all for looking at my shots and the comments you leave, which may throw up some things we never expected, watch this space💇‍♀️🌸🌼🌸😱🐎🐷🍷🍷🍷😂😂😂

Some say the cement works are a blot on the landscape, for me the building is more like a cathedral.

Hope has the capacity to make around 1.5 million tonnes of cement each year

The cement is vital for UK construction - from homes and hospitals to railways and regeneration

Over 200 people work at Hope in a variety of jobs.

Most live within a few miles of the site

Studies show the works contributes over £60 million to the local economy every year

Our cement is made with local limestone and shale blended with imported shale substitutes

Up to half the fuel used in Hope's kilns comes from wastes that may otherwise go to landfill
