Background to this is about four years ago I took the train to Inverness and spotted this amazing relic plus a broken down footbridge; neither is at all obvious from the main road. Resolved to find and photograph it, quite pleased with this but the bridge will need another visit.

Everyday is continuing struggle with myself to find something on what i could focus and achieve something different.
But in the end i'm happy to be myself and have close people who support me in new beginings.

The Lyne Water is a tributary of the River Tweed which rises in the Pentland Hills of southern Scotland
This shot, taken on a fly-fishing trip features the flowering Ranunculus fluitans or "Water Crowfoot" as they dance in the trout stream.

I feel a bit nostalgic when looking at this very old photo taken many years ago. This pasture is right down the street from where I live and often it would provide a beautiful scene. Now it's a hemp farm. Sometime I'll have to take a picture so you can see what it looks like now.
