Today is party time. I'll be out of flickr for a good cause. So, I'll answer your comments at night.
In the coming days and weeks I shall share photos from my recent holiday in Namibia. For me holidays are about more than places to visit and things to see, they're also about the people we meet and see along the way.
After a long non-stop flight we touched down in Johannesburg for an overnight stop. At my hotel I was greeted by a Doorman named Dayoff wearing a traditional Basuto (Basotho) hat from Lesotho; I was indeed in Africa.

A recent downpour of snow in the West Midlands left Warley Woods looking like the movie stunt double for Narnia! Not quite the same but pretty darned close. It was a magical couple of hours and perfectly timed as I had the day of work! I love snowy woodlands. You can look in any direction and the world is full of magic!

At Dawn, i found my self in the face of that lack, pushed with my steps, and my tongue was thrilled in a very short speech with that beauty... the water reveals more of it's secrets, at dawn.
to me nothing shouts "Spring" louder than Coltsfoot.
This is on a building site that has become abandoned beside my house. My bees do visit these flowers ( i have seen and photographed in previous years) but today the gorse and the dandelion was more attractive to them.
