In the coming days and weeks I shall share photos from my recent holiday in Namibia. For me holidays are about more than places to visit and things to see, they're also about the people we meet and see along the way.
After a long non-stop flight we touched down in Johannesburg for an overnight stop. At my hotel I was greeted by a Doorman named Dayoff wearing a traditional Basuto (Basotho) hat from Lesotho; I was indeed in Africa.

A recent downpour of snow in the West Midlands left Warley Woods looking like the movie stunt double for Narnia! Not quite the same but pretty darned close. It was a magical couple of hours and perfectly timed as I had the day of work! I love snowy woodlands. You can look in any direction and the world is full of magic!
