A view looking to the east while on a moderate level, guided hike in Denali National Park around the North Face Lodge area. What I was wanting to capture with this image was the valley view from this rise between two mountainsides with Moose Creek by in the center. Even though overcast with mostly cloudy skies, there were a multitude of colors present across the tundra. Also because of the overcast skies, I decided to angle my Nikon SLR camera slightly downward to capture more of that sweeping view from this rise and then across the valley with the mountains all around. I did some initial post-processing work making adjustments to contrast, brightness and saturation while playing around as I learned how to work with DxO PhotoLabs 3 that I’d recently purchased after moving away from Capture NX2.

Our lives changed the day our son died. We had to create a new US. His death changed all of us and altered our life's course.
Day 9. Took "better" photo's today, but have belatedly decided to go with a theme to my challenge pics. Going to try & do pics of my 2 doing their own thing - together.
Anyway, hanging clothes on the line & I hear "Come on T, come on" and turned around to find this scene! Luckily T's 13 months stops her in her tracks occasionally.
Yes E is wearing a dress over a skirt she is allowed to dress herself if we arent leaving the house (mini boden mind you, for climbing the fence).
