A conversion to black & white using Silver Efex Pro 2 where I used a Titanium Toner and the worked with color filters to bring out a much richer tonal contrast for the final image on this overcast and rainy day.
A view from Diablo Lake Overlook in Ross Lake National Recreation Area.
At a rest area parking location along US Hwy 441 (Newfound Gap Road) in Great Smoky Mountains National Park with a view looking to the north-northeast while taking in a setting of the Oconaluftee River flowing by.

Day7
Second day in Old San Juan was spent in land defense fort, San Cristobal and walking up and down the streets. An exhausting day!
Thanks for stopping by and view this photo. The reason for posting this photo on Flickr is to learn so if you have constructive feedback regarding what I could do better and / or what I should try, drop me a note I would love to hear your input.
View On Black the way it should be seen!

Dusk at Copenhagen Opera House.
- Last day with the Sigma 10-20, the only lens for a week.
It has been fun to only use 1 lens for a hole week.
I learned a lot more about using this lens ... :)

I am so happy with this photo! A while ago I made this cloak for a Red Riding Hood photo for a college project, I was really proud of it (and found it hard to resist running around in it every chance I got!) but I never got to wear it in my photos. I was told about this cute little foresty place and thought it would be the perfect location to wear my cloak (yay!) and do a photo. Apart from getting stung by nettles a lot, I had fun taking this photo :)
all me-made
(today's photo challenge: to be in your workplace; well I do office-work but cooking feels more like "work" to me!)
Top; self-drafted, made in some acrylic knit (that used to be grey but I dyed it yellow when I realised how awful it looked on me...)
Skirt; crocheted by me using Jo Sharp yarns... didn't you know, crochet skirts are sooo hot right now hehe?

This has happened:
Yesterday night: almost midnight and I’m preparing for bedtime, only one last check on some forums to do. And then I saw it, some crazy guys wanted to shoot in the middle in night. I didn’t have a choice, I had to get out in the rain and shoot with these guys. It was too crazy to ignore!
And I could get one more pic for my 365-project.
- After two hours of continuous rain I can say that the D40 is weather proof!
Explored!
I took a few photos. Closed my eyes, tapped into the feeling of love, opened them and snapped.
After a few my eyes started to water for the truth of this love journey I've been on with myself these last several years.
Feeling pretty blessed to be able to look back at myself and choose softness. The years of the inner work is always worth that feeling.
