110/365: 2015
For Macro Monday theme herbs and spices
Also #20 for April 2015: A month in 30 pictures
Sorry, not around much at the moment, still trying to catch up with viewing and commenting, back later to catch up a bit more.
HMM everyone
Day 110.
This morning was just perfect weather as far as I was concerned. Apart from having to scrape the ice off the windscreen of my car and generally warm it up for the 15 minute drive into work, I know that being on this early shift means I catch the best time of day and often see some beautiful sunrises.
When you combine that with frost and a gorgeous Cheshire countryside, I guess I have nothing much to complain about.
This was on the way this morning and I had to stop the car and take a few photos. They weren't all as clear as I would have liked, so only the ones here made it onto Flickr - I wanted a photo of the frosty fields and tree and the cows were an unexpected bonus, since I hadn't seen them from the road.
I'm hoping for a repeat of this weather again this week - these conditions are so fleeting that 10 minutes later and I'd have missed it all.
I like the way the red peppers look like a fire but let's just say that I struggled with today's image, nuff said.

One of my friends found an invader in Shibuya, so I went to see him who lives under the elevated expressway.

For Day 110 of 365. And for "Noneday Noneday" day in TRP. And for TRF and lyrics. And for Softball Monday!
Today's random fact: Tomorrow, I leave for Savannah for a much-needed break from reality. I'm very excited and have great plans for much photography. I'm going by myself, which everyone seems to think is strange. But it's my favorite city on the east coast and there are so many photographic opportunities there.
My biggest goal while I'm there is to complete a 100 Strangers portrait project. I'm really looking forward to that.
Softball tonight at 8:30. Bring it!

"I'm Not OK" by My Chemical Romance
Well if you wanted honesty, that's all you had to say.
I never want to let you down or have you go, it's better off this way.
For all the dirty looks, the photographs your boyfriend took,
Remember when you broke your foot from jumping out the second floor?
I'm not okay.
I'm not okay.
I'm not okay.
You wear me out.
What will it take to show you that it's not the life it seems?
(I'm not okay)
I told you time and time again you sing the words but don't know what they mean
(I'm not okay)
So be a joke and look, another line without a hook
I held you close as we both shook for the last time take a good hard look!
I'm not okay.
I'm not okay.
I'm not okay.
You wear me out.
Forget about the dirty looks
The photographs your boyfriend took?
You said you read me like a book, but the pages are all torn and frayed
I'm okay.
I'm okay!
I'm okay, now
(I'm okay, now)
But you really need to listen to me
Because I'm telling you the truth
I mean this, I'm okay!
(Trust Me)
I'm not okay
I'm not okay
Well, I'm not okay
I'm not o-fucking-kay
I'm not okay
I'm not okay

How I love my fuji and 55-200mm lens, you get such lovely booked from it. Couldn't resist getting out early this morning in the garden to capture the sun through the trees and cherry blossom.
Ok, so it's silly o' clock in the morning and I need to post today's picture now because I'm out at a birthday party tonight and I'm going straight from work.
I think I may be in pain tomorrow. In fact, it's probably a safe bet.
February 13. Celebrating two Swedes: Mats Sundin's birthday and this lovely Swedish camera, the Hasselblad 500CM. I think I'll call her, "Hazel"...

No you're not seeing double hehe. Just me in the mirror!
Did you ever hear that song by Aerosmith? Deuces are wild is an amazing song, so if you haven't listened to it, I am recommending it :)
Even though I have a sh*t load of homework to do, I'm learning to not get stressed, and I'm glad. I know it will get done, even if it's the night before. My english teacher extended the research paper's due date to Mon. so that also helped!
Do you ever wonder what it would be like to have a twin? I wonder that sometimes. Maybe some of you do have a twin, but I would think it would be so weird! It's like two of you, but with different personalities.
Anyway, just a thought. Well here is my twin, except she only comes by when I'm standing in front of the mirror : )
PS- what the hell is wrong with flickr? I can't comment on anyone's pictures without it going to "This page has expired"! Sorry if my comments don't go through.
Today was a great day! My BFF Shanna and I went for some delicious salad at Ruby's before going to Todd's soccer tournament. We ended up being out at the fields for about 4 hours due to rain/lightening delays but in the end it was worth it. His team goes on to the Final game on Friday... Go Orange! This is just a little picture of Shanna, Ally and I being silly between games. The sun was finally out and we were happy about it!
Happy Sunday!!
I forgot to mention that Todd scored the only goal in the 2nd game of the day, taking his team to the Championship game :)
I ain’t got the Monday blues ‘cause I’m feeling good :)
The key is to eat well and be merry. Have a great week everyone!
I was thinking about listening to some Miles Davis earlier, only to remember that someone had taken it a long time ago. I guess I need to get another copy.
I wanted to go out and do something for todays Challenge, but I forgot my CF-Card once more at home, so I got back without taking a picture. Great! As I thought about what to do for today, I stumbled upon the little older challenge 'Things that make you Happy'. What really makes me happy is getting email at the moment. I check my account last thing at night and first thing in the morning again... and since I haven't done a bokeh shot in a while, I thought I tinker a bit and build myself and envelop.
Sorry about the yawning and not having my hand in front of my mouth... please let me know if you started to yawn too when looking at the picture, I certainly have to everytime I look at it. It's infectious... ;o)
