“In the world of dogma, you become free the day you decide to go to hell.”

A Prairie Dog looks to be dancing for his friend in the hole. Because of the weather the dogs weren't as active as usual but hung around long enough for some few good shots!
Dawg and Eddie. Nether are too sure about being placed on a rock to be photographed. Needless to say having the pups look my direction for a photo was all but impossible.
BCR train #12 has arrived at Squamish, BC with MLW M630 #719 in the lead today. The depot dog is pacing the station platform as he has for years waiting for the crews to swap and the drop cars and pick up more for the southbound trip to Vancouver after the northbound Budd cars pass.
He'll make sure everything is right before their departure. After all he IS the Squamish Depot Dawg!
Happy MLW Monday!
Dawg looking for small critters, turtles, frogs and such. We do not let him harm any or let the critters harm Dawg or Eddie. Dogs just want to have fun.
Empty coal train U740 rushes southward into Bogart, GA, as the towns welcome sign proudly displays UGA fanfare in support of those Damn Dawgs. Bogart is only about 8 miles west of Sanford Stadium in downtown Athens, so strong support of the local sports team is basically a requirement.
It is still hard to beat. Using a older Nikon with an older but faster lens. More green showing everyday. Yes, more rain is expected.
Eddie looking at something. He is not a good guard dog but a pretty good watch dog. Dawg is backing him up.
Good old Dawg on the back porch on a sunny, warm day. He is the oldest of the three but he is in good shape for being over 14 years old.
Life is awfully good in the hollers of Kentucky.
This is the porch of Penn's Store, an old country store located near Gravel Switch, Kentucky.
The temps warmed up, the snow has all but melted. The pups were ready to play outside. NO demanding to play outside!
This picture is for the group Macro Mondays and this week the theme is "Member's Choice: Abstract Macro".
This is a bottle of water with a few air bubbles (with tiny water bubbles inside them) along the side. I had a coffee mate lid behind the lower part of the bottle and then changed the color a little bit. This section of the bottle is about 1" x 1".
I took two different pictures of the water bottle (with different colors behind it). I chose to enter this one into the group pool.
Since the colors turned out to be close to the colors of The Cleveland Browns (my hometown NFL team) my husband said I should title it "Dawg Day Afternoon".... in reference to the "Dawg Pound" (the bleacher section behind the east end zone at the stadium in Cleveland, Ohio).
No matter which way I turned the desk lamp I still had tiny white dots in the photo. Any help with this would be appreciated.
My little Dawg after being groomed. Happily he is still with us. A bit older, slower and grouchier. I know the feeling myself :-)
The home sits in an Appalachian coal mining town's prime location. It is just a couple of hundred yards up the road from the elementary school. That school marks the beginning of downtown. The coal mine is conveniently nearby, too.
Angel, relaxing on one of our dog hammocks! She had previously been lying down in leaves on the ground! What a mess- and when they go in the house, ALL that comes in with them! Ack!
