I was thinking today. About the tent city in Sacramento that @chatpigg posted. And how it's growing everyday. We don't have such places but we do have many public housing projects. We call them "caserios". By day they're ok but at night they're a nightmare. Most people below the poverty level here have shelter but no real way to get out of poverty, especially now.
