There are a lot of memories I wish to forget but those bitter memories turned sweet when God gave me the courage to stand up and fight the battle with head up high. I prayed hard for those people who've hurt me to change but His ways aren't my ways so He changed my heart instead. He removed all the pains and gave me a forgiving heart. And that, my dear friends, is the best thing that happened to me this year. I'll face 2009 with God by my side. I'll never stop saying this line:

For the first time in my 25 years here on Earth, I have seen a butterfly hatch from its cocoon. It was an exciting experience. I can't say anything aside from "Wow!" God really is amazing.
Special thanks to Ate Jo aka Joliz for tagging me along this photoshoot with her pretty little daughter, Gia, also an aspiring photographer. You'll see her soon gracing my stream.

Canibad in Barangay Aundanao in Samal Island is a great place to go if you want to get away from the noise of honking vehicle and stressful life in the city.It is forty minute ride from Davao City plus a 20 minute walk downhill before you reach the Canibad Cove with pearly white sand and irresistible cool waters. It is one of the beach resorts that is less developed, so tourists and guests should not expect to see class restaurants and air-conditioned rooms. For those who want to stay overnight at the beach, it is advisable to bring a tent with you, but cottages are also available for around P200-P300 pesos per night. Since there is no restaurants in the area, cooking your own food in designated areas is a good idea.
