Another collaborative effort with my daughters' help. My younger daughter helped with the background and my older daughter gifted me these beautiful peppercorns.
I'm trying to get comfortable in working in color so expect more color intense images as I explore this area. I usually shy away from color as I find it challenging so how best to deal with it than in extremes?
My daughter and her two children came to take me for a walk, after online school today. Good to get fresh air but my fingertips froze so the round trip took about 20 minutes. The kids got a kick out of taking me for a walk instead of me taking them 😷
"geese inside a duck"

(thanks, stargazer! for the title) it refers to the fact that this car is lovingly called "duck" (Ente) in Germany........!
I should have done my research earlier: these are not geese (but were introduced as such), but are really Indian runner ducks! My apologies and thanks to all who knew better!

Krzyżtopór is a castle located in the village of Ujazd, Iwaniska commune, Opatów County, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It was originally built in years 1621-1644 by a Polish nobleman and Voivode of Sandomierz, Krzysztof Ossoliński. It was one of the largest palace buildings in Europe before the construction of Versailles. The castle was partially destroyed during the Swedish invasion known as The Deluge in 1655, and then reduced to ruins during the war of the Bar Confederation by the Russians in 1770. Now the ruins of this castle is open to visitors.

Krzyżtopór – ruiny powstałej w latach 1621–1644 rezydencji pałacowej w stylu włoskim, otoczonej fortyfikacjami bastionowymi, zbudowanej przez wojewodę sandomierskiego Krzysztofa Ossolińskiego, położonej w miejscowości Ujazd w województwie świętokrzyskim. Była to jedna z największych budowli pałacowych w Europie przed powstaniem Wersalu. Zamek został częściowo zniszczony podczas potopu szwedzkiego w 1655 roku, a następnie doprowadzony do ruiny podczas konfederacji barskiej w 1770 roku. Od 2018 ma status pomnika historii. Obiekt jest udostępniony do zwiedzania.

My daughter told us not the first time she felt aseleep after a very
short walk. Maybe this was her only excuse not to walk further.
Western Lowland Gorilla (Gorilla gorilla gorilla) named "Leslie", born 10/19/16 - with her mother "Kokamo".
Gorilla babies will begin eating some vegetation at around 2.5 months and make it the majority of their diet by 6 to 7 months. Still, some will nurse for comfort 2.5-3 years or beyond.
