OMG I had a date last night! I haven't had an SL date for years. I even let my hair grow out to its natural green. Marvellous how quickly the metabolism works in SL. And here I am, sitting waiting expectantly for that knock on the door. And it was wonderful. When the pumpkIn coach came to collect me at midniight I was dancing on air. And, girls, let it be our secret that my gown is Utopia Janet Marine Water and my hair was styled by Ryancita at that Doux Hair Salon
Dating, fishing or just relaxing and enjoying a beautiful day and magnificent views over the river. All of these activities, apparently incompatible, can be found here, at Jardim do Ginjal, a small but charming park already extensively described on my two previous shots in this series.

I spend quite a large part of my life choosing, testing and repairing photographic equipment. It takes me much more time than creating pictures..
Once I unwittingly overheard a conversation of men drinking alcohol on the river bank.
They talked about fishing and choosing equipment for this.
One of them had a heavy box of various fishing gear. He showed them with pride, laid out and sorted out ... spinners, wobblers, fishing lines, hooks ...
And the other could boast of nothing but a shovel.
But I remember his words well:
".. there are men's magazines about women,
But sometimes it's just a woman.."
After that He dug up worms and went to fish..)

An afternoon date in the Botanical Gardens in Utrecht, the Netherlands with Ciska which I met through Flickr.
The Botanic Gardens are located at the heart of Utrecht Science Park. They were laid out on and around Fort Hoofddijk, which dates from the 19th century. This extraordinary stretch of green space, covering nine hectares, is part of Utrecht University. To this day, the Botanic Gardens continue to serve their primary function, which is to support education and research. In addition, there has been an increasing focus on the public role played by the Botanic Gardens. Nature conservation, especially in an international context, is another important aspect.
As an organisation, the gardens date back to 1639, making it one of the oldest botanic gardens in the whole of the Netherlands.
