Attention, troopers! This is Admiral Tarkin with new orders. The chancellor has voiced his concern over the new threats arising in the Dathomir system. A malicious group known as Night Sisters has repeatedly interfered with our military expeditions. Reports show that this group and its members utilize unordinary weaponry and something that, in lack of a better expression, could be described as a sorcery. While you are familiar with the dubious ways of the Jedi already, their abilities might be even more absurd. In consensus with the chancellor, my research team and I have decided that a live subject is needed for further research into this matter. Your mission is to acquire a suitable subject in an assault on one of the Night Sister's lairs on Dathomir. The Jedi are not to be informed of this assignment and will have no part in this operation. I will personally lead the attack. Our assault will be swift and precise. Failure is unacceptable.

Hey there! Welcome to the Dathomir Collaboration! I'm so excited to kick things off today with part one. My part depicts the mission briefing in the hangar of a Venator Class Star Destroyer. A lot of inspiration for the hangar was taken from h2brick's MOC, and obviously, Venator hangars themselves. Speaking of inspiration, the AT-RT is pretty much just a combination of multiple different custom AT-RTs I've seen. Mainly, MClegoboy !. His AT-RT. I would credit the others, but I can't remember their names, and can't find the posts anymore. This thing is certainly rough around the edges. But I had fun trying some new techniques, and in the end, I'm happy with it.

Now it is time to turn to our main objective: Capturing a Night Sister! Their most capable sorceresses will most likely gather in the temple to conduct a ritual to aid their defenses. Advance into the sanctuary, stop the ritual and capture a specimen! Make sure not to fall prey to their tricks! Their foul magic will be no match for our firepower!

Here it is, my part of #dathomircollab and probably my biggest build this year! This was a lot of fun to build and what better day to upload it, than my birthday! I hope you enjoy it and stay tuned for the other parts of the collab soon releasing on Instagram.
The clones aboard Tarkin’s Nu-Class shuttle, Karkarodon’s Dread, staggered from side to side, as the shuttle’s cargo hold rumbled unceasingly, slowly conceding to the Nightsister’s dark magick and it’s tight, glowing, yellowish-green grasp on the vehicle.
“Hang on boys, it’s about to get real rough”.
The pilot’s warning could not possibly prepare the troopers on board for the crash they were about to live through; As the ship’s nose hit the ground with a loud thud, consequent sparks of electricity and crackling noises, both from the comlinks and the ship’s internal electric workings lit up the scene. The screams of the victims whose bodies were being crushed by the ship’s machinery, which was no longer located inside the ship’s core, but rather sporadically laid across the ground, could barely be made out amidst the chaos that now reigned the previously calm atmosphere. A final, overwhelmingly loud explosion knocked out all clones and other sentients present on the crash scene, plunging them into a short-lived coma.
“Lieutenant, gather your men and call us a transport at once”.
Tarkin’s voice broke through the now silent atmosphere of the crash scene, where clones were once again staggering to their feet, some doing so in futile attempts to get up. The second pilot, the one who’d alerted the troopers to the imminent crash and had somehow managed to survive it, jumped over his seat. Sliding down the lateral face of the downed shuttle, he kneeled a few meters farther to help a fellow brother get up.
“Leave him, there’s no time. This is war for Coruscant’s sake! We’ve managed to capture a live subject and it’s survived the crash in its cryostasis pod. We must bring it to Coruscant at once, no matter the cost or casualties. If we are to succeed, no time must be wasted”.
The admiral’s cold-hearted speech on the cost of winning the war obviously destabilized the pilot, even though he’d heard it from many others before. Like all clones, he couldn’t bear the thought of leaving a brother to agonise behind. After all, clones like him were bred with a strong sense of loyalty, not just to the jedi, but to their brothers as well...

The story :
Scans have shown a village structure on the path to the Night Sister’s lair. Intelligence indicates the local population of Zabrak has been manipulated by the Night Sisters and now functions as their defensive militia. This village is their fortress and an instrument of protection for the Night Sisters. The Zabrak, so called Night Brothers, are too weak to decide for themselves, but not to be spared regardless! Show them what happens to those, who chose the wrong masters!

The time has come! Eclipse of Dathomir, the Dathomir collaboration, starts tomorrow! In the upcoming days, the story will unfold in various builds by talented builders @legofrenchbuilder, @shield_and_swordbricks, @samjensen29, @j.bricks.mocs, @the.bricktor, TMNS5097, @emazingbrix and myself. A second detail shot of my recent diorama for #dathomircollab.
It’s new years eve again already, so, as tradition demands, it is time to take a look at the year passed. I think I speak for everyone, if I say this year has been more than weird. Social distancing and lockdown has challenged our ways of living and brought many uncertainties. Yet, I think I had a huge amount of personal growth this year. I had to make some hard decisions in my social life, with friendships ending and people disappearing from my life for good. But with every door that closes, a new one opens. I made new friends and developed more confidence than I had before. Lego wise, this year has been a blast! I participated in more collabs and contest than ever before and made a ton of friends along the way! I feel like I am more and more finding my own unique building style and this year’s builds are probably among the best I did so far. Overall, I posted 80 photos of 37 builds I created. That makes 2020 one of my most productive years, yet!
Here’s to 2021, a year that will hopefully not only get us back to a normal life, but let’s us be united by the experiences of 2020 and the bonds we formed from a distance!

Attention ARC Troopers! This is Admiral Tarkin with confidential orders, directly form the Chancellor. We are looking into a new threat emerging in the Dathomir system. Soon forces will be deployed to deal with this matter. It is your task to prepare the battlefield. Scout for structures well fit for establishing a base and identify any threats posed by local wildlife or environment! Your work will directly influence the chances of success of the upcoming operation!

What to build: To apply for the Dathomir Collab, build a small vignette (10x10 minimum, 16x16 maximum) showing your approach on how to build Dathomir. You may chose to show a clone ARC Trooper either dealing with dangerous animals or making their way through rock formations and parts of ancient temples. The figure should be a variant of phase 1 armor, ideally featuring some olive green armor markings or accessories.
Make sure to submit your application by April 27th, 12pm CET. Tag @the.bricktor or @ordo_builds in your post and use the hashtag #dathomircollab.
