Chapter 2, "Data & Code," co-authored by Arianna Salazar Miranda, Roland van Dierendonck, and Paolo Cirio, delves into the ethics of AI within the context of public data collection. The chapter uses a practical case study on urban policy decision-making regarding air quality and carbon emissions to stimulate discussions on responsible AI governance. It highlights the workshop's initial focus on traffic analysis, where manual car counting was employed to gather data on car models and fuel consumption. The integration of data from various sources and the consideration of environmental impact provided a comprehensive understanding of traffic dynamics in Linz. This analysis contributes to a holistic assessment of the city's traffic situation. Students also conducted traffic video recording and car counting in different locations, using algorithms to analyze car models, fuel consumption, and environmental impact.

on my Dai-koku Oo-hashi ( big bridge ), on my way to my home in the Dai-koku chou ( town ), Nama-mugi town, on my way to my home in the city bus
note :
at that day,
my W5 still had made stains on its jpgs with f 5.6.
so,
I had to use my W5 on f 2.8 with manual focussing.
and simply again,
I made natural mistakes plainly again.
I started my W5 with f 2.8 1/1000.
after the 18th shot,
I washed my face and hands at the small park near the main road to my Dai-koku Pier.
and I began to take jpgs with auto exposure from 19th shots.
and I did the deletes three or four times on the way to my Dai-koku Oo-hashi.
after the last delete on the road,
I set f 5.6 in my manual focussing.
" Why ? "
" The sky could still accept f 2.8 1/500 or 1/250. "
" 1/60 ? uuu ... mmm nn ... "
" The sky could still accept f 2.8 1/250 plainly. "
" Why ? "
" 1/30 ? ... what ? "
on my Dai-koku Oo-hashi,
I finally recognized my mistakes.
That was entirely the end of my W5's memory card acceptances.
I had been shooting with f 5.6.
I couldn't get back again to my road that I had been walking through today.
