The kids need to pick up a pile of empty pizza boxes, and then race around the Armada Girls and back to the starting line.
Lots of folks are curious about how Dash is doing, well I took this today and he is mighty fine as you can see, Below is Dash with his girl friend Oakie, we are all in the truck cab since the bed is taken up with a cattle watering tank that has a leak and has to be repaired.

The Santa Dash has been going on for many years all around the world and this will be the 8th year that it has been held in Liverpool and runs from the Liver Buildings to the Town Hall (5km) and there is also a 1km Mini Santa Dash for children.
The Liverpool Santa Dash in now the largest Santa Dash int he WORLD!
But this year we have Newtown hot on our trail who were the original record holders. It is said that this is the last year that they are taking part and because of that they are determined to win…
…but we’ll beat them all!

Blue Dasher (Pachydiplax longipennis) - Suburban New Jersey, 25 miles west of "The City" (NYC)
I was lookin' through my 2012 archive for the original capture of a shot I posted to BugGuide when I stumbled across this Blue Dasher. I'd seen one in my front yard the other day and walked right past it since I already have hundreds of captures of these guys, so I though I'd post one already in the bag to commemorate this year's unphotographed visitor.
Actually he wasn't a visitor but a more likely a resident that had hatched from my pond.
I've also seen a Swamp Darner this spring patrolling my side yard pulling Cicadas out of the air
(which goes a long way in explaining the headless Cicada bodies I've found in the lawn),
but as much as I'd like to find it perched, darners seldom land and there's simply not enough Swamp Darners around
to be lucky enough to find a dewy one resting in morning light on it's evening perch.

Went back to the Tourne to look for the Great Horned Owl. No luck. Had to settle with a frog and drgaonfly.
April 28, 2012 Warrior Dash came to Arizona. Jeff, Ruth, and Tim ran in the first heat of the day (9:00a) and I was able to shoot the event.

Dingo's have some red stuff in them that stains the carpet so Dash suggested he have is own rug, everynight this is the procedure, he gets one mini-dingo. He learned this after showing him one time.
