To make myself present in a hurry
Quite stressful and busy period.
I'm sorry I did not visit you as I wanted ... better times will come : )
For now, I hope everything is ok for you !
The winter arrived with its strength, many strong winds (which in Italy we had never seen) and hydrological damage, have added problems to our little great Italy, but we hold strongly!
Thanks for your recent visits, favorites, comments and invitations, everything is very much appreciated, as always....

The term "darshan" ( दर्शन, in Sanskrit ) doesn't really have an English equivalent. Perhaps to closest translation would be both "to see" and " to meet" in a religious or spiritual context. One is said to "take darshan" of a saint, an idol, a sacred object...etc... It is an opportunity to face the "Real" and benefit from its positive energy. It's a blessing.

Paramahamsa Vishwananda’s birthday celebration brought many guests to The Ashram, Shree Peetha Nilaya. The festivities began with darshan on the 11th of June. On the 13th the bhaktas offered many prayers and gifts to Guruji as an expression of gratitude for all that He has brought into our lives and to the world. There were 108 yajnas on the lawn behind the temple, and later the devotees offered pada-abhishekam to Guruji’s Feet. The day was filled with singing, satsangs, and a delicious vegan dinner. Paramahamsa Vishwananda spoke about the beauty and joy of serving God with sincerity and asked that we all become disciplined in our chanting of the Divine Names.
