Here is my design of the Washingtonia robusta palm tree, I used 12 green and 4 darktan Swordleaf with Clip but you can use more leafs with that same technic.
The model depicts a medieval era watermill.
This MOC was built for Summer Joust 2022 12x12 Vignette category.

I went for a more vertical design focus on this house compared to some of my others, while still keeping it small. Building small things and trying to decrease the overall size of creations is again still increasingly growing on me. It might be related to the overall slow paste of building that I experience recently, though I will get back to making large scale things once I find the time, at least that´s what I hope for. None the less, I hope you enjoy this for the moment.
Before Rahul left Adebowale to become Hiltja's apprentice and freeze his nuts off in Adegoke he used to visit the traders that frequented the desert Qisir Torpaq and totes hitched some camel rides.

After the Return to base for red alert astronauts give power to DT8 and push it in a desolated land to try to fix the problem that astronauts make with the egg that they have found in that strange construction.
Also introducing Rahul, Hiltja's apprentice.
He's from the dwarves from ADEBOWALE who differ from the dwarves of the other continents. They have a more slender and lean build and darker skin tones and their bending abilities are stronger focused on fire than on earth. Most dwarves in ADEBOWALE are traders, travelling the desert QISIR TORPAQ to deal with its riches.
Rahul's family gave him the opportunity to learn a trade that is more uncommon by shipping him off to ADEGOKE when Hiltja was searching for a new apprentice.
He has so much to learn.

STARFOLD Intergalactic Shipping Company (SISC) launched its first shipping ventures in the year 2076, a mere 20 years after mankind set foot on new planets. Rapid colonization to these new planets came to depend on reliable, large-scale shipping of supplies, and STARFOLD was the first to meet the demand, quickly gaining monopoly on space commerce as a whole.
Really happy with this creation! I built this entirely from one concept image for Rogue One, plus the limited footage we have in the trailers. I went through multiple designs for the front, eventually ending on the use of the wedge plates.

How many times can I only redo old builds before people get tired of it?
This guy was "finished" for this past Brickfete 2017 and only now have I taken pics! While it was laziness, I was never happy with the back skirt and weapon until now. I tried making small tweaks here and there but not much was happening.
This was practically a complete overhaul from the previous version. A lot has changed, including it's squished look and elongated limbs. While I did like the odd look of the old one and I do wish I could capture it again, I think the new look is very appropriate.
Like usual, it can be super posable because every limb has good range of motion. It's just hard to actually prove it because I like to load too much weight on all of the joints and they just can't hold.

I'm not dead! :D I've just been incredibly busy, and haven't really had much time to build. I finally got around to building something, but as I'm not at my house, the photography isn't great, and a few parts of the build got rushed. Anyway, I hope to be more active soon, and building more again!

Finally there is my new little freebuild for our RPG "Nine Kingdoms" of the German LUG Rogue Bricks, from which I posted a teaser last week.
I have wanted to build a small church for a while now and I'm really happy to be able to show it to you :)
For this creation, I got some inspirations from older churches and chapels built in Britain during the Middle Ages.
Furthermore, I found the wall technique of Simon NH so great that I really wanted to try it - but I underestimated how many parts were needed for this building :)

My favorite part about 2016 is it gives me plenty of opportunity to experiment with new colors, functions, and character designs as I haven't for a long time. That, and some of the lackluster designs leave plenty of room for revamps. Though Ketar had plenty of great pieces, I found his design with its gangly limbs, long sword claws, and messy colors a bit silly. So I built him how he should have been, a big, scary scorpion with a striking/bashing function, snapping claws, and mandibles. Unfortunately, I couldn't find room for the unity function though.

As I am currently snowed in...I spent a fair amount of time on an interior build I've had planned for a while. This originally was planned for my Floremheim story, but I decided to do it sooner than I had expected and use it for IoA. Hope you like it as much as I do!

My associates, Andrew Carl and Richard Tristin, and I have finally captured the brothers who have been illegally mining the rare gems beneath the surface of our homes. We took our prisoners to the city's prison tower where they are now currently imprisoned. Now, we have been summoned to Farhelm Town Hall by Colonel Harison, who hired us for the job.
"Ah! Gentlemen, welcome, welcome. How are we today?" asked Colonel Harison, as he stood from his chair and shook our hands.
"Just fine, Colonel. However it is a bit cold outside. We haven't had a storm like this in quite a while," I replied.
"Yes, yes indeed! Ghastly, weather indeed. I've been reluctant to leave this room today, as it is so warm," replied the Colonel.
"Understandable. But personally, I am more interested in receiving my share of the payment you owe us," Richard said.
The Colonel let loose one of his loud laughs. "Oh, Richard! Always worried about your money. Very well! You shall receive it now."
The Colonel handed each of us a sealed envelope, which we placed inside our cloaks.
"Is that all, then, Colonel?" I asked him.
"No, no that's not all, in fact. I actually have some important to tell you all, if you'll hear me," the Colonel said.
"Oh? What's on your mind?" asked Andrew.
"It's not so much on my mind, more so in a letter from Lord Beckert."

Original story:
Stren was a humble sorcerer. He lived in his cottage deep in the woods of the kingdom. He has his gardens, his house, his firewood, and his magic. Nothing more is required in life for him.
One afternoon, he was enjoying the weather in his front yard, when he notices two armed royal knights approaching his fence. Expecting trouble, Stren grabs his staff and stands up.
Sorcerers are not well liked in the world. They're believed to be agents of the Devil, with dark powers. Common folk avoid them at all costs. Whenever a sorcerer is approached by armed knights, he has reason to be nervous and expect a threat.
The knights stopped at the gate and glanced at each other. Then one proceeded to speak:
"We are not here to harm you. We come with a message from the king himself. He requires your assistance...he says you saved his life once."
"Indeed I did. You may approach...slowly," Stren replied.
The two knights walked slowly up to Stren, but kept their distance when they stopped.
"What is it the king requires of me?"
"There is a dark force...the Necromancer, he is called... He is raging war against the kingdom, destroying villages...killing innocents," the knight responded. "The king is asking if you would help him fight back."
"The king would ask a sorcerer to help fight a war?" Stren repeated.
"Yes, he knows he can trust you, since you saved his life. His parents encouraged him to believe you were good."
Stren nodded, while stroking his short beard. "I will come immediately."
The knights nodded and thanked him together. "The king has assured your safety for the journey."
The sorcerer nodded, then retreated back inside his cottage. He collected a few items and placed them in his satchel, which he then threw over his shoulder. Picking up his staff once more, he then closed the door behind him and followed the knights down the path.
As they reached the crest of a hill, Stren turned to look back at his home. He wondered to himself if he'd ever see it again. Maybe...

It's kinda cool underwater here. I landscaped this plot underwater but some of the neighbors nearby also landscaped underwater. The guy next to me has a crashed airplane underwater. Someone also put out a sunken pirate's ship so it's fun to swim around if you're into being a mermaid. One or two neighbors have banlines for privacy but most people seem to allow the public so be nice if you visit to keep things open. Mostly no rezzing, so you'll have to wear what you need)

"This is most irregular...but he is asking if you three would accept positions within his ranks? He is willing to offer the position of captain, including full pay." said the Colonel.
My heart started beating rather quickly. This was unbelievable, my luck! With this latest payment, I can finally purchase that private island I've had my eyes on. Now, I get offered the rank of captain in the Royal Armada.
"Is there a catch?" Andrew asked. He was always the more paranoid member of our small group.
"Not at all. As I said, this is quite irregular, but it's as real as anything can be," the Colonel answered.
Richard stepped forward almost instantly. "I'll gladly accept the offer, Colonel."
"Excellent! If you'll approach the table with me, you simply need to sign your new contract. I took the liberty of having them prepared for each of you, just in case you agreed on the spot."
Andrew and I glanced at each other. I could tell he was still pondering his decision intensely. Then I noticed a change in his eyes. We both new our answers.
"We'll sign," I said for both of us.
