To save money I did NOT upgrade my scanner software to the professional edition (VueScan). This is the reason for the watermark. Converted i Darktable - free software very hard to manage. But when you get it (you if you're lucky) , it looks kinda nice :-) I believe this is my best conversion until now for this colornegatoive. Sorry about the annoying watermarks, which will stay until I use annother 50 $ for an upgrade to "Professional" for the VueScan software :-(
This Darktable software, which BTW is free, has settings for White Balance (in case you scan using digital camera) as well as eyedropper settings for Color of Film-base, Film Dynamic Range (D-max) and Scanner Exposure Setting. This makes it kinda credible. I'm not sure if I can save the settings for converting mulitple, similar images. That would be NICE!
